Sometimes we look around us and think the world has never been darker, but in truth Babylon during the Jewish exile was full of evil and darkness. And yet, Daniel, (as well as Hananiah, Mishael, and Azariah) lived as a man of integrity in the midst of the darkness. The Roman Empire was also pervaded with evil, so Paul gave instruction to the church on how to live counter-culturally. The life of Daniel, exemplifies this life of living counter-culturally in the midst of exile and hostility.
Today we will unpack both side by side, as we seek to learn to live lives of faithfulness and integrity and overcome evil with good.

Tomorrow is Mother’s Day…For some that is a day of joy and for others a day of sorrow. Some of us have much to celebrate, others have wounds from loss of mothers and children or difficult situations. But no matter where you find yourself tomorrow- Jesus will meet you there. He loves you! He sees you! ❤️

Come join us tomorrow at 11AM, as we worship the Lord who is worthy of all honor and glory! Come thank Him for the gift of mothers - natural, adoptive and spiritual. Come honor and remember your mothers, grandmothers and special women in your life, by being in church.

Come with ears to hear the heart of our Heavenly Father and see what He can do when we bring our little to Him. Whatever you find in your basket tomorrow … bring it and offer it to the Lord.
