The Third Night Of Our Summer Meeting With Marcus Reppert

At approximately 7:05 PM on May 1, James Woods of Cullman, AL confessed his faith in Jesus Christ and was immersed in water for the remission of sins in the Tennessee River.

James reached out after watching several episodes of Let The Bible Speak with Brett Hickey, and was adamant that he wanted to be right with God. Though legally blind, James is an excellent Bible student and very knowledgeable in the scriptures. He was especially convicted of the Bible pattern of one loaf and one cup in the observation of the Lord’s Supper after Brett’s sermon on the subject.

He plans to worship with the Reid Road Church of Christ in Athens, AL, several of whom were present to hear his confession, witness his baptism, and be first to welcome him to the body. It was my privilege to assist James with his decision and we welcome him to the Lord’s church. We praise God and His Son, Jesus Christ, for the forgiveness of sin and this increase to the Kingdom.
