Let us recognize from whom our blessings come. All good and perfect gifts come down from above from the Lord. He has blessed us with life and all the beauty of this world to enjoy. It is by His hands we are feed and we are watched over as His children. He has been merciful, forgiving and kind. We rejoice that Jesus gave His life so we could live. Many times, we arrive at a place where we think nothing is going to happen to correct the situation. Our hope is gone and our faith is warned. It is in these times that the Lord comes on the scene and changes everything. We have a way of getting in over our head. It seems to be a natural thing for us to do. When we cry out to the Lord for help, He reaches down and takes hold of us and lifts us up. The Lord is our present help. Thou we may not feel or think He is near; He is by our side. He is taking notice of our needs and the things we are facing. His presence brings a calmness that all is going to be well. As we trust Him, He will reveal His hand, and we will still be standing when the storm has pasted.
