Now life happens; the season of me doing in person as my dominant avenue of delivery has shifted to totally online; however the good news is, the power of God is not limited by space or distance and I continue to be an obedient vessel. Marrying a deeply prophetic person is a unique calling. I am very prophetic person so I know these challenges personally in the context of navigating that in marriage for 15 years, prior to my late husband's passing, but also it is often an issue raised in counsel and prayer over my many years as a minister, ministry leader, and as a life and couples coach.

In many ways, it can feel like having a "vocal" third partner in your marriage. It demands a higher level of wisdom, humility, discipline, and godliness—but when fully submitted to God, it brings an incredible prophetic edge and blessing to a family. As 2 Chronicles 20:20 reminds us: “Believe in the Lord your God, so shall ye be established; believe his prophets, so shall ye prosper.”Here is what it really looks like behind closed doors:

🧠 Constant Processing: A prophetic spouse is always discerning, feeling, and sorting things through with God. Sometimes they need physical space and quiet atmospheres to ponder; other times, they will verbally process everything they are picking up.

⚠️ The "Pre-Evidence" Pressure: Prophetic alerts often come before there is any physical proof. This creates massive social pressure on the less-prophetic spouse, who is asked to stand in agreement on something they haven’t personally seen or felt yet.

🙏 The Prophetic Burden: The prophetic spouse must learn to pray more than they talk. They must remain merciful, patient, and loving, even in seasons when their spouse rejects the word due to ignorance, pride, or timing.

The Bottom Line: Never marry someone who just admires your gift from a distance. Marry someone who understands the cost of the gift.If the less-prophetic spouse has a deep relationship with God, trust, and confidence, Holy Spirit will bridge every gap with supernatural peace. But if that spouse is driven by pride, insecurity, or jealousy, the enemy will use them to sabotage and block the blessing.Choose a partner ready to jointly sacrifice, honor, and protect the oil on your life.

Another horribly tough week so far, but I am going to go ahead and smile anyway—little grey hairs and all💜

This is my smile of gratitude. I am so thankful to still be alive and of sound mind, given all the trials, tribulations, traumas, and overall hell I have had to endure for the past four to five years; medical, financial, emotional, and mental battles... pretty much alone in Florida and Arizona with my 4 kiddos since becoming a widow.

This is also my smile of gratefulness for my top-tier, inner-court inner circle. I am blessed with solid-gold, true friends, leaders, and family who have cried, prayed, counseled, sown into us, and kept spiritual watch. They have guarded and defended us against the snakes, dogs, sharks, gossipers, religious critics/judgers, busybodies, and even Satan himself! lol. They have honored me in every form of my vulnerability, brokenheartedness, and humanity. Through it all, they stand strong, reminding me of who I am, whose I am, who my children are, and who my God is. They have echoed back to me the exact words, teachings, and wisdom I gave them in past ministry that helped them successfully overcome.

This smile acknowledges that although I have experienced an innumerable amount of heartbreak in life, I AM NOT BROKEN. 🌺

1 Peter 1:6: "So be truly glad. There is wonderful joy ahead, even though you must endure many trials for a little while." (New Living Translation)
