Native American Urban Ministry in Phoenix

This Ministry is created to meet the needs of the urban Native American in Phoenix It is a ministry of the ELCA and sponsored by the Grand Canyon Synod

There are over 100,000 Native Americans in Phoenix. This ministry is for a new generation of people who want to honor their culture and be Christian or those who worship in the traditional way. The Creator of our understanding honors all people.

Tonight is the night! Meet us in the circle. Park and enter from the West Parking lot at Grace Lutheran Church. Parking validation provided inside. Clothing room and doors open at 5pm. Circle starts promptly at 6pm.

***Monday Night Talking Circle***
Join us tonight! The circle starts promptly at 6pm. Please be on time or early, as the circle gets more full, we ask that you be there no later than 6pm.
We like to make sure everyone has a chance to share and be heard, and we need to be done close to 8pm. Thank you!
Free parking, refreshments served and the clothing closet will be open at 5pm.
We are located at Grace Lutheran Church in the Fellowship Hall. Enter from the black gates on Moreland St OR the Kitchen Door from the West Parking Lot.

Wow-Creator God is good. 64 people in recovery finding ways to help their journey of sobriety. Thank you to Malcolm Kootswatewa for leading the circle and to Tamara Yazzie for assisting.

It was such a joy to visit with the young people who came early at 5:00 to enjoy our first of the month meal. We are so blessed to offer the Talking Circle to our community. Thank you to recovery homes who provide transportation. We are blessed with a solid core of leaders. Beautiful people without ego, who share the leadership of the Circle filled with sacred souls. Thank you , Tunkashila/Grandfather, Creator God.

Monday Night Talking Circle is back this week! We will have a light dinner starting at 5pm. The clothing closet will be open from 5-6pm. Parking is free! Join Us! Malcolm Kootswatewa will be leading the circle.

A huge THANK YOU to Christ the Lord Lutheran Church in Carefree for the donation of 1000 (thousand) coffee cups! Plus coffee, sweetener and other supplies we use for our ministry!! I was pleased to be able to share a bit about Native American Urban Ministry and they even made us this great display.
We are grateful for every ministry that invites us into their church and wants to learn about us.
