# Awaken to Prayer | Week 1, Day 1: Recognizing Spiritual Sleep

Are you spiritually awake—or simply going through the motions?

In this opening lesson of our **Awaken to Prayer** series, we explore God's urgent call in **Ephesians 5:14**: *"Awake, O sleeper, and arise from the dead, and Christ will shine on you."* Together, we'll uncover the subtle signs of spiritual sleep and apathy that can creep into the life of any believer, causing us to lose our passion for prayer, our hunger for God's Word, and our sensitivity to the Holy Spirit.

We'll examine biblical examples such as the disciples in Gethsemane, Samson, and the lukewarm church of Laodicea to discover how distraction, comfort, disappointment, and self-sufficiency can slowly pull us away from wholehearted devotion. Most importantly, we'll learn God's pathway to awakening through remembering, repenting, and renewing our commitment to Him.

If you've felt spiritually dry, distant, or stuck, this teaching is an invitation to wake up and rediscover the joy of God's presence.

**Kingdom Speech & Culture **

Our words reveal our culture, and as believers, we are called to speak as citizens of the Kingdom of God. In this teaching, we explore how Kingdom culture transforms the way we communicate, respond, build relationships, and represent Christ in the earth.

Together we’ll discuss:
The power of words in the Kingdom
How Kingdom citizens should speak and live
The difference between worldly culture and Kingdom culture
How speech reflects the condition of the heart
Using our words to bring life, truth, healing, and encouragement

This lesson will challenge us to align our conversations, attitudes, and daily lifestyles with the nature and character of the King we represent.

Your marriage is not a finished story—it is a living one.

Sometimes the enemy wants us to believe that a painful chapter is the ending. But God is still writing. The testimony is still unfolding. And what feels unfinished in this season is still being held by a faithful Author.

In this Morning P.U.S.H. devotional and prayer time, we focus on the power of testimony, the faithfulness of God through difficult seasons, and the truth that your story still carries hope. Through Scriptures like **Revelation 12:11, Psalm 71:14–18, Psalm 107:2, 2 Corinthians 1:3–4, and Mark 5:19**, we are reminded that we overcome not only through the blood of Jesus—but through the testimony of what God continues to do in our lives and marriages.

This devotional is for anyone who has ever wondered if their story still matters, if restoration is still possible, or if God is still moving in the middle of unfinished chapters.

He is.

And the testimony is still being written.

Join us as we pray over the story God is continuing to unfold through covenant, faithfulness, and grace.

If you’re ready to grow deeper in prayer and build a marriage rooted in God’s presence, we invite you to join the **P.U.S.H. Prayer School community on Skool**—a place to learn, grow, and pursue God together.

Your marriage was never meant to be just private—it was meant to be a witness.

According to **Ephesians 5**, marriage reflects the relationship between Christ and the Church. That means the way we love, forgive, pray, endure, and return to each other carries Kingdom significance far beyond ourselves.

In this Morning P.U.S.H. devotional and prayer time, we focus on understanding marriage as ministry—a living testimony of God’s faithfulness in a world that desperately needs to see covenant lived out well. Through Scriptures like **John 13:35, Matthew 5:16, Revelation 12:11, and Psalm 96:3**, we are reminded that a thriving marriage can become one of the most powerful sermons ever preached.

This is not about performing perfection. It’s about choosing faithfulness.

If you desire for your marriage to reflect God’s love and become a testimony that points others toward Him, this devotional is for you.

Join us as we pray for our marriages to become light, witness, and ministry to the world around us.

If you’re ready to grow deeper in prayer and build a Christ-centered covenant, we invite you to join the **P.U.S.H. Prayer School community on Skool**—a place to learn, grow, and pursue God together.

One of the most powerful prayers you can pray is also one of the hardest:

“Not my will, but Yours.”

Surrender is difficult because it requires releasing our timeline, our expectations, and the version of the story we imagined. But Scripture reminds us that God’s plans are higher, wiser, and better than anything we could build on our own.

In this Morning P.U.S.H. devotional and prayer time, we focus on surrendering our marriage fully to the will of God. Through Scriptures like Matthew 6:10, Luke 22:42, Romans 8:28, Jeremiah 29:11, and Isaiah 48:17, we learn how prayer moves from simply asking God to bless our plans into true partnership with His purpose.

If you’ve been struggling with control, disappointment, unanswered prayers, or trusting God’s process, this devotional is for you.

Join us as we release our agenda, trust God’s wisdom, and pray the courageous prayer:

“Your will be done.”

If you’re ready to grow deeper in prayer and build a marriage anchored in God’s purpose, we invite you to join the P.U.S.H. Prayer School community on Skool—a place to learn, grow, and pursue God together.

** WEEK 3 — When You Don’t Know What to Pray | The Holy Spirit Helps Our Weakness**

Have you ever reached a place in prayer where the words just wouldn’t come?
Where the burden felt too heavy, the pain too deep, or the situation too overwhelming to explain?

This week, we’re uncovering one of the most powerful truths in Scripture:
You were never meant to carry prayer alone.

In Romans 8, we discover that the Holy Spirit steps into our weakness and intercedes according to the will of God. Even when we don’t know what to pray, Heaven is still moving.

This teaching will help you:
Understand how the Holy Spirit helps in prayer
Stop condemning yourself for weak moments
Learn what it means to yield to Spirit-led intercession
Trust God even when you cannot yet see the outcome

Prayer is not about perfection.
It’s about partnership.

 Scriptures: Romans 8:26–28, Hebrews 7:25, Isaiah 55:8–9

Some of the deepest exhaustion in marriage and life comes from trying to carry what only God can hold.

Control often disguises itself as responsibility, worry, or simply wanting things to be okay. But God never asked you to manage every outcome, fix every person, or carry every burden alone.

In this Morning P.U.S.H. devotional and prayer time, we focus on releasing anxiety, surrendering control, and trusting God with the parts of life and marriage we cannot change ourselves. Through Scriptures like **1 Peter 5:7, Proverbs 3:5–6, Matthew 11:28–30, Psalm 55:22, and Philippians 4:6–7**, we are reminded that peace comes when we stop striving and start surrendering.

This is not about giving up—it’s about giving it to God.

If you’ve been carrying pressure, fear, anxiety, or emotional exhaustion, this devotional is for you.

Join us as we pray, release the weight, and trust the One strong enough to carry it.

If you’re ready to grow deeper in prayer and learn how to walk in peace and trust, we invite you to join the **P.U.S.H. Prayer School community on Skool**—a place to learn, grow, and pursue God together.

One of the hardest things to surrender in marriage and prayer is the timeline.

We want God to move quickly. We want answers now. We want breakthrough before the waiting becomes painful. But Scripture reminds us in **Ecclesiastes 3:11** that God makes everything beautiful in its time—not ours.

In this Morning P.U.S.H. devotional and prayer time, we focus on trusting God’s timing even when the process feels longer than expected. Through the stories of Scripture and passages like **Isaiah 55:8–9**, we are reminded that delay is not always denial—sometimes it is preparation.

If you’ve been struggling with waiting, frustrated by slow progress, or tempted to interpret God’s pace as absence, this devotional is for you.

Join us as we release control, surrender the timeline, and trust the Author of the story.

If you’re ready to grow deeper in prayer and strengthen your faith through every season, we invite you to join the **P.U.S.H. Prayer School community on Skool**—a place to learn, grow, and pursue God together.
