The three threads Yogiji Maharaj wove through his entire life. The same three threads our community gathered around on Saturday.

We listened to pravachans on how a single kind word can hold someone up for a week. We watched our youth bring those teachings to life on stage. We sang Yogi Avo Te Rang together.

Yogiji Maharaj's legacy is not held in a single day. It lives in the way our community shows up for each other, week after week.

In 1892, in the small Saurashtra village of Dhari, a child was born who would carry timeless wisdom across continents.

Jinabhai, who the world would later know as Yogiji Maharaj, appeared as the simplest of sadhus. Bare feet. Few words. A radiant smile.

Within that simplicity lived a vastness most never recognized at first sight. He was the fourth spiritual successor of Bhagwan Swaminarayan, an
embodiment of pure devotion and unconditional love.

This week, BAPS Phoenix joins millions around the world in celebrating his birth.

Today (Maha Vad 13), we celebrate Maha Shivratri, commemorating the divine manifestation of Bhagwan Shri Shankar in the form of the Shivaling. Devotees observe a fast, offer sacred bili leaves, and perform abhishek as an expression of devotion.
