🙌 LET GO AND LET GOD 🙌

Some things get heavier the longer we try to control them. That worry keeping you up at night? That situation you keep trying to fix? Take your hands off it and place it in God’s hands. 🙏🏾

Rev. Rashad Bailey reminds us to trust God beyond what we can see or understand. We can pray, release our grip, and trust Him to direct our steps.

Stop looking back. Keep moving forward in faith. Let God have His way.

Fear Not 🙏🏾

Two words that are easier said than done.

When the bills outweigh your paycheck, a diagnosis feels uncertain, or a relationship is struggling, fear can take hold. Sometimes the darkness we face isn’t around us—it’s in our minds as we wrestle with the unknown.

In “Fear Not,” Rev. Rashad Bailey reminds us to face those fears with faith and use discernment about who we keep close:

“Everyone in your circle is not in your corner.”

Who’s truly there to support you when life gets hard? Be prayerful about who you allow close, and hold on to that word of comfort: Fear not.

What fear do you need to bring to God today? See this sermon clip by our Rev. Rashad Bailey

But If Not

For 116 years, we’ve had some “but if not” testimonies—faith that keeps standing, serving, and trusting God regardless of the outcome.

God will open a door. But if not, we’ll keep trusting.
God will make a way. But if not, we’ll keep believing.
God will fill the pews. But if not, we’ll keep serving.
God will restore our youth. But if not, we’ll keep reaching.
God will send new members. But if not, we’ll keep witnessing.

Our faith is in God, even when the outcome isn’t what we prayed for.

As Minister Tamika E. Singleton reminds us: “I’m gonna stick beside my God.” 🙌🏾

Declare it in the comments: “I’m gonna stick beside Him!”

The beginning brings excitement. The end brings joy. But the middle? That’s where your faith is tested.

It’s where you get tired, questions grow louder, and you wonder if you have the strength to keep going. Family struggles. Financial pressure. Grief. Uncertainty. Trying to hold everything together while privately feeling like everything is falling apart.

It’s one thing to praise God when the struggle is over. It takes faith to praise Him while you’re still in it.

Can you keep praying when nothing seems to be changing? Can you trust God while you’re still waiting? Can you keep standing when life pressures you to bow?

For 116 years, Bethany has known what it means to keep standing in the midst of it all. Whatever your middle looks like today, keep praying. Keep trusting. Keep standing. 🙏🏾

People may count you out, but they don’t get to write your ending.

Nebuchadnezzar believed the fiery furnace would be the final chapter for Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego—but he wrote an ending God never authorized. When they emerged, their hair wasn’t singed, their clothes weren’t damaged, and they didn’t even smell like smoke.

The fire may be part of your story, but it is not your identity.

For 116 years, Bethany’s testimony has been greater than survival. The fire did not consume who we are. There is still worship in this house, preaching in this pulpit, ministry in this community, and another generation being introduced to Jesus Christ.

What you survived can become evidence of God’s power. People may question your faith, but they cannot deny your testimony. When they know what you’ve endured and still see you standing, your life becomes proof that God is real.

PRAYER GOT HIM THROUGH 🙏🏾

Prayer got Daniel through the lions’ den—but Daniel never got through with prayer.

Even after God delivered him, Daniel kept praying.
Even after the king promoted him, Daniel kept praying.
Even after receiving blessings beyond his wildest dreams, Daniel kept praying.

And don’t miss this: the same king who promoted Daniel was the same king who put him in the lions’ den. With friends like that, who needs enemies?

Daniel spent the night in a dark den surrounded by lions, while the king rested in the comfort of his palace. Yet the king was the one who couldn’t sleep!

Early the next morning, the king rushed to the den and cried out, “Daniel, are you all right?”

And Daniel answered, “Oh, yes!”

Prayer didn’t just get Daniel through the lions’ den. Prayer kept Daniel before, during, and after the trial.

Don’t stop praying when God brings you through.

“He Can’t Stop Praying” 🙏🏾

Daniel had prestige, influence, and favor with the king—but none of it guaranteed popularity or security.

When the decree forced him to choose between prayer and the lions’ den, Daniel’s decision was already made. He couldn’t stop praying.

The opposition searched for a fault in him, but they found none—because Daniel remained faithful.

What would you risk to remain faithful to God?
