Tomorrow/Thursday at 10am we worship God and celebrate the life of Deacon Elvis Malone. Viewing is 9am to 10am. Pray for his wife of 60+ years (Deaconess Dr. Viola Malone) and their children plus grands.

From Pastor CHJ - Mourned the loss of Jacqueline Bogle Mosley today - the first female and first African American Mayor of Yeadon. The link to the Homegoing worship service is shown below. As a long time educator in Philadelphia, she gave herself to uplift children. We also uplift children at Vacation Bible School today and each weekday from 6pm to 8:30pm, with a meal at 5pm. Classes for all ages, including adults.

From Pastor CHJ - God's love, grace and power to you this trifecta Sunday: 1) it’s the first day of summer 2026, 2) Father's Day, and 3) my Mother’s birthday on June 21, 1928. I love and appreciate my Father and Mother - increasingly so as "time swiftly passes imbued with memories fond.” They are shown below on their wedding day in April 1952. My father brought me to church each Sunday! So in a real sense, without him taking me back then, I wouldn’t be your Pastor right now. See you at 10:30am for Manhood Sunday and Father’s Day at Mount Zion. Bring your sons and daughters. Happy Father’s Day.

Thanking God for freedom, though the struggle continues. Where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom. (2 Corinthians 3:17) Let’s worship the God of freedom in person this Sunday as we celebrate Manhood Sunday and Father’s Day.
