Proud members of the community gathered this Memorial Day at our historic cemetery on 8th and Spruce Streets to commemorate Revolutionary War veterans and honor all who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to the United States.

The ceremony included flag planting, memorial prayers, and moments of reflection among graves that represent centuries of American Jewish history.

We are proud to continue this important tradition of remembrance and civic gratitude while preserving one of the nation’s most historic Jewish cemeteries and National Shrines. 🇺🇸

Thank you to all who participated in this meaningful community observance.

Proud to see Congregation Mikveh Israel - Synagogue of the American Revolution highlighted from the Jewish American Heritage Month celebration last week at city hall featured on page 4 of the latest edition of the Jewish Exponent :).

This event brought together leaders from across Philadelphia to celebrate unity, resilience, and the vibrant contributions of the Jewish community.

In a time when standing together matters more than ever, we’re grateful for the partnerships, conversations, and hope shared throughout the event. 💙
