Okay, clergy sisters…let’s talk preaching!
“Her use of movement was not ancillary to verbal statements; movement was elemental.” —Donyelle McCray, Is It A Sermon? (chapter on The Dancer)

💬 What makes a sermon a sermon? And how do our bodies, voices, movements, and presence become part of our preaching?

Women ministers, join us virtually on Friday, 10/9 at 7 PM ET for a rich evening of conversation, reflection, and fellowship as we discuss Chapters 1–3 of Is It A Sermon? It’s an opportunity to think together, learn from one another, and explore how we communicate the Gospel in the pulpit and beyond.

🎙️ Discussion Facilitators: Dr. Tamika Holder, Dr. Kimberlee A. Johnson, Min. Brenda Roberson

Bring your book, your thoughts, and your preaching experiences. Let's grow together!

"But blessed are those who trust in the Lord..." Jeremiah 17:7–8.
These words became our prayer, our reminder, and our anchor this summer. May we stay rooted in this no matter the season of the year or the season of life.

🔔Do you have a food pantry, clothing closet, community outreach, hunger relief program, youth program, disaster preparedness effort, or other community-serving project?

If so, a grant of $250-$5,000 can really make a difference.

Organizations must create a Spark Good account on Walmart.com/nonprofits and be verified by Walmart’s third-party verification partner, Deed.
