Join the IHM CYO Volleyball Teams for this annual Bump Out Pink Out event. We are partnering with Hope Afloat USA, a dragon boat team for breast cancer survivors.

With your donations, Hope Afloat will give back to the community by creating gift bags for hospitals and helping out other organizations who have direct contact with those going through treatment. It will also help give scholarship money to other breast cancer survivors on their team who are in need of financial assistance.

Hope Afloat is hosting their annual breast cancer awareness walk on October 18 right here in Roxborough. Spread the word! We are so proud to announce that three students from our IHM Class of 2027 have qualified and met the high eligibility requirements to compete for the Archdiocese of Philadelphia 2027 Neumann Scholarships!!!

Neumann Scholarships are full tuition, 4 year scholarships awarded to the Archdiocesean high school of the students’ choice.

These rank among the best and brightest in the Archdiocese of Philadelphia!

We are aware that IHM families with Gmail accounts have been missing receiving the IHM Heartbeat.

We have reached out to Option C and received this information:

“Our Communications partner just yesterday implemented some coding that we hope will help with the Gmail issue.

Besides this new potential update, this unfortunately is out of our control, and parents may need to contact Gmail directly. Because the Alerts are being sent successfully to other mailboxes, the system is working correctly, and Alerts are getting to the majority of users. This is a specific Gmail issue with their spam tracking setup.

Gmail is marking emails from [email protected] as spam because multiple Gmail users previously flagged them. Once this happens, Gmail applies that spam filtering across all Gmail accounts. Blocks typically come from content or authentication issues, not the email address itself.

It may also help to have your Gmail families add [email protected] to their email contacts and make sure OptionC is set to go into their inbox.”

In Library this week, our 1st grade, PK3 and PK4 read “Ten Apples Up On Top”. We were trying to stack 3 apples to see if this story is a fiction or nonfiction. We came to the conclusion that it is a fiction story. 💙
