“Am I a God near at hand,” says the Lord,
“And not a God afar off? 24 Can anyone hide himself in secret places, So I shall not see him?” says the Lord; “Do I not fill heaven and earth?” says the Lord” (Jeremiah 23:23-24, NKJV).

*INCUBATION TODAY (BRO. EMMA OKORIE)*

*SUNDAY, MAY 31ST, 2026*

*TOPIC:HAVE A MERRY HEART*

*Meditation:*

*“A merry heart doeth good like a medicine.”(Proverbs 17:22)*

*Today’s text: Proverbs 17:22:*

A merry heart is a state of cheerful, joyful lively spirited mind, it is having a positive attitude and finding reasons to be joyful despite challenges and difficulties of life. You cannot be joyful focusing on your problems rather than focusing on the one who is the source of joy. To have a merry heart you must allow the Holy Spirit to control your life, and supply the fruit of joy. *Galatians 5:22:* “But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.” Recalling the testimonies of God’s mighty deeds in the past is another secret of merry heart.
When you feed on the word, your faith is built, your spirit man will always be quickened and lively in the face of trials of life. *Jeremiah 15:16:* “Thy words were found, and I did eat them; and thy word was unto me the joy and rejoicing of mine heart: for I am called by the name, O lord God of hosts.” The word of God will raise a standard against the spirit of anguish that dries bones and introduces strange sicknesses in the body. Constant depression and loss of hope is as a result of lack of the word of God in your spirit man which is the source of a merry heart. When the word of God is not in control of your spirit, anger, bitterness, anxiety sorrow etc., comes in to take away your peace and joy, and introduce sickness to reduce your life span. *Proverbs 14:30:* “A sound heart is the life of the flesh: but envy the rottenness of the bones.” If you want to live long, you must make up your mind to be joyful at all times, for a merry heart doeth good like medicine.
Even though events of life turn to the contrary suggesting nothing good, still rejoice in the Lord. *Habakkuk 3:17-18:* “Although the fig tree shall not blossom, neither shall fruit be in the vines; the labour of the olive shall fail, and the fields shall yield no meat; the flock shall be cut off from the fold and there shall be no herd in the stalls: yet I will rejoice in the Lord, I will joy in the God of my salvation.” Paul admonished in *1 Thessalonians 5:16:* “Rejoice evermore.” Beloved, to be merry is a personal decision, make up your mind to be joyful and merry at all times.

*Prayer:*

*1.I ask for the grace to remain joyful at all times.*

*Confession:*

*I have a revelation that a merry heart is medicine and I will always live joyfully.*

*Further study:*

*Philippians 4:6:7:*

*“Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. And the peace of God , which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.”*

*Isaiah 61:10:*

*“I will greatly rejoice in the Lord, my soul shall be joyful in my God; for he hath clothed me with the garments of salvation, he hath covered me with the robe of righteousness, as a bridegroom decketh himself with ornaments, and as a bride adorneth herself with her jewels.”*

*Isaiah 12:3:*

*“Therefore with joy shall ye draw water out of the wells of salvation.”*

“Woe to the shepherds who destroy and scatter the sheep of My pasture!” says the Lord. 2 Therefore thus says the Lord God of Israel against the shepherds who feed My people: “You have scattered My flock, driven them away, and not attended to them. Behold, I will attend to you for the evil of your doings,” says the Lord. 3 “But I will gather the remnant of My flock out of all countries where I have driven them, and bring them back to their folds; and they shall be fruitful and increase. 4 I will set up shepherds over them who will feed them; and they shall fear no more, nor be dismayed, nor shall they be lacking,” says the Lord” (Jeremiah 23:1-4, NKJV).

*INCUBATION TODAY (BRO. EMMA OKORIE)*

*SATURDAY, MAY 30TH, 2026*

*TOPIC:LEARN TO BE WORRY FREE*

*Meditation:*

*“Be careful for nothing; but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.” (Philippians 4:6 KJV)*

*Today’s text: Philippians 4:6-7 (KJV):*

*TODAY'S INSIGHT*
The phrase “be careful for nothing” does not mean to live carelessly. It means ‘do not be consumed by anxiety’. The word “careful” in this context speaks of being full of care, weighed down by worry, divided in the mind. Worry divides the heart. Paul wrote those words from prison. Not from comfort zone. Yet he spoke about peace. That alone tells us something powerful, peace is not the absence of trouble; it is the presence of trust. That statement is anchored in faith, absolute trust and confidence in God’s word.
Jesus addressed worry directly in Matthew 6. He pointed to birds that do not farm and yet are fed. He spoke of lilies that do not labor and yet are clothed in beauty. His message was simple: if the Father faithfully cares for creation, how much more will He care for you? Worry attempts to solve tomorrow’s challenge with today’s fear. But fear has never added one hour to anyone’s life. It only drains strength from the present.
Hannah was burdened, misunderstood, and mocked. Her heart was heavy. But when she poured her soul before the Lord, Scripture says her countenance was no longer sad. The situation had not yet changed, but her spirit had shifted. She exchanged anxiety for surrender. *1 Samuel 17-18* “Then Eli answered and said, Go in peace: and the God of Israel grant thee thy petition that thou hast asked of him. And she said, Let thine handmaid find grace in thy sight. So the woman went her way, and did eat, and her countenance was no more sad.”
“Be careful for nothing” is not denial of reality. It is refusal to let worry and anxity rule your spirit. Peter echoes this truth: “Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you” *(1 Peter 5:7).* You cast, He cares. The burden shifts. An anxious heart tries to carry what only God can sustain. A trusting heart releases it. This does not mean that you should avoid responsibility. It means you should avoid panic. Panic is a demonic spirit of fear that does not help your health and longevity. We plan, but we are not obsessed with it. We work, but we do not tremble. We pray more than we worry because anxiety magnifies problems. Prayer magnifies God. Child of God, instead of worrying, cast all your cares today on the Lord. Have faith that He has taken your burdens away.

*Prayer:*

*1.Father, forgive me for the times I have allowed anxiety to control my thoughts and teach me to bring every concern to you instead of carrying it alone.*

*Confession:*

*Henceforth I will not be ruled by fear. I cast every care upon the Lord. God is mindful of me and faithful to sustain me. I choose prayer over panic and trust over worry.*

*Further study:*

*Isaiah 26:3:*

*Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee.*

*1 Peter 5:6–7:*

*Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time: Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.*

*Psalm 55:22:*

*Cast thy burden upon the LORD, and he shall sustain thee: he shall never suffer the righteous to be moved.*

*John 14:1:*

*Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me.*

*Proverbs 3:5–6:*

*Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.*

“Woe to him who builds his house by unrighteousness And his chambers by injustice, Who uses his neighbor’s service without wages And gives him nothing for his work…21 I spoke to you in your prosperity, But you said, ‘I will not hear.’ This has been your manner from your youth, That you did not obey My voice. 22 The wind shall eat up all your rulers, And your lovers shall go into captivity; Surely then you will be ashamed and humiliated For all your wickedness…26 So I will cast you out, and your mother who bore you, into another country where you were not born; and there you shall die. 27 But to the land to which they desire to return, there they shall not return” (Jeremiah 22:13, 21-22, 26-27, NKJV).

*TOPIC: POWER OF TESTIMONY*

*Meditation:*

*David said moreover, The LORD that delivered me out of the paw of the lion, and out of the paw of the bear, he will deliver me out of the hand of this Philistine. And Saul said unto David, Go, and the LORD be with thee. And Saul armed David with his armour, and he put an helmet of brass upon his head; also he armed him with a coat of mail (1 Samuel 17:37-38)*

*Today’s text: 1 Samuel 17:32-51:*

*TODAY'S INSIGHT*
Testimony is personal sharing of experiences of God’s grace, faithfulness, mercy, healings deliverance, miracles, protection etc. either privately or publicly. God is always glorified when we share testimonies of what He has done for us. Testimonies strengthens your faith on God to confront current challenges. When David shared the testimony of God’s deliverance from the paws of a lion and a bear, he was strengthened by faith in his spirit to fight Philistine warrior. He trusted God to deliver him as He did before, and help him kill the giant. David’s testimony convinced Saul, the king, to let him fight Goliath; *verse 37:* “David said moreover, The LORD that delivered me out of the paw of the lion, and out of the paw of the bear, he will deliver me out of the hand of this Philistine. And Saul said unto David, Go, and the LORD be with thee.” Beloved, your testimony is your weapon of warfare: *Revelation 12:11* “And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death.”
When you remind God of the things He did in the past and present, your spirit will rise up to the occasion to confront future challenges; so don’t allow the challenges of your life to intimidate you, rather always pull the trigger of your previous testimonies. Testimonies build confidence in you and in others when being shared to step out to new grounds. Always share your testimony, for God will use it to stir up faith in others for healing, miracles, breakthrough etc. Testifying what the Lord has done brings joy: *Luke 10:17* “And the seventy returned again with joy, saying, Lord, even the devils are subject unto us through thy name.” When Caleb testified to Joshua, how the Lord kept him alive and strong at the age of eighty-five, it became a platform to make demand on Joshua to give him the mountain of Hebron. He believed that the same God will help him fight and conquer the giants of mount Hebron. *Joshua 14:12-13:* “Now therefore give me this mountain, whereof the LORD spake in that day; for thou heardest in that day how the Anakims were there, and that the cities were great and fenced: if so be the LORD will be with me, then I shall be able to drive them out, as the LORD said. And Joshua blessed him, and gave unto Caleb the son of Jephunneh Hebron for an inheritance.”
Child of God, what is that challenge before you; prolong sickness, untimely death in the family, lack of progress and breakthrough, demonic oppression and attack? You can conquer them today by recalling what the Lord had done for you before.

*Prayer:*

*1.Ask the Holy Spirit to call to your remembrance testimonies of God’s faithfulness as a platform for your victory.*

*Confession:*

*I confront every challenge around me with testimonies of God’s faithfulness as weapon of warfare.*

*Further study:*

*2 Corinthians 1:10:*

*“Who delivered us from so great a death, and doth deliver: in whom we trust that he will yet deliver us;”*

*2 Timothy 4:17-18:*

*“Notwithstanding the Lord stood with me, and strengthened me; that by me the preaching might be fully known, and that all the Gentiles might hear: and I was delivered out of the mouth of the lion. And the Lord shall deliver me from every evil work, and will preserve me unto his heavenly kingdom: to whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen.”*

*Psalm 44:1-2:*

*“We have heard with our ears, O God, our fathers have told us, what work thou didst in their days, in the times of old. How thou didst drive out the heathen with thy hand, and plantedst them; how thou didst afflict the people, and cast them out.”*

“Thus says the Lord: “Execute judgment and righteousness, and deliver the plundered out of the hand of the oppressor. Do no wrong and do no violence to the stranger, the fatherless, or the widow, nor shed innocent blood in this place. 4 For if you indeed do this thing, then shall enter the gates of this house, riding on horses and in chariots, accompanied by servants and people, kings who sit on the throne of David. 5 But if you will not hear these words, I swear by Myself,” says the Lord, “that this house shall become a desolation” (Jeremiah 22:3-5, NKJV).
