On this Father’s Day, we pause to thank God for the men who have helped lead, love, teach, pray, and serve with faithful hearts.

For fathers, grandfathers, spiritual fathers, mentors, and father figures, we are grateful for the ways God has used your lives to offer strength, wisdom, kindness, and grace.

May every man who seeks to follow Christ be encouraged today to keep walking in faith, loving with humility, and serving with a heart shaped by God’s love.

“Let all that you do be done in love.”
1 Corinthians 16:14

Today we celebrate Juneteenth—a reminder that freedom, justice, and human dignity matter to God.

As followers of Christ, we remember that the Gospel is a story of liberation, reconciliation, and hope. We serve a Savior who broke down dividing walls, welcomed those pushed to the margins, and called us to love our neighbors as ourselves.

At First Baptist Church Phenix City, we believe every person is created in the image of God, and everyone has a seat at the table.

As we honor Juneteenth, let us move beyond remembrance into action—working together to build a beloved community where every person is welcomed, every voice is valued, and everyone knows they belong.
