Spiritual growth begins when we stop making excuses, stop pointing fingers, and take personal responsibility for our actions. We cannot correct what we refuse to acknowledge! 🙏🏽

God is not looking for perfection; He desires a heart that is humble enough to admit when it is wrong, repent, receive correction, and allow Him to make the necessary changes. ❤️‍🔥

🙌🏽 FAITH REQUIRES PERSONAL RESPONSIBILITY! 🙌🏽

This morning at Faith Christian Center International, Bishop Alonzo Tucker I brought forth a powerful Word reminding us that our walk with God requires personal responsibility, action, and a heart that puts God first! 🔥🙏🏽

📖 KEY POINT: FAITH REQUIRES PERSONAL RESPONSIBILITY

Galatians 6:5 — “For every man shall bear his own burden.”

Romans 14:12 — “So then every one of us shall give account of himself to God.”

💡 THE MESSAGE: We must take responsibility for our own walk with God. Nobody can stand before God and give an account for us. Our relationship with Him is personal, and we must be accountable for how we live, the choices we make, and the way we honor Him.

🔥 KEY POINT: FAITH IS LIVED OUT THROUGH ACTION!

📖 James 2:17 — “Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone.”

Faith is more than what we say we believe; it must be demonstrated through how we live! We must take ownership of our actions and allow our lives to bring glory to God.

🙌🏽 A POWERFUL REMINDER FROM BISHOP TUCKER:

When you are truly born again, your life is no longer about you! It is about Christ living through you. We cannot make ourselves the center of our relationship with God. GOD MUST BE THE FOCUS! 🎯✝️

❤️ HERE'S THE REVELATION: IT STARTED WITH HIM!

📖 John 3:16 — “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son…”

Bishop Tucker reminded us that our relationship with God did not begin with our love for Him. IT BEGAN WITH HIS LOVE FOR US! ❤️🔥

He loved us when we were unlovable. He showed us mercy when we were lost. He protected us through dangers we saw and dangers we never even knew existed. Even when we weren't thinking about Him, He was still loving us!

So, when we reflect on His goodness, our response should not be to put ourselves first, but to give HIM the glory, the honor, and the praise He deserves! 🙏🏽🙌🏽

📖 TEACHING TOPIC: STAY EMPOWERED - WE ARE THE TEMPLE OF GOD!

What a powerful reminder during our Mid-Week Empowerment at Faith Christian Center International! 🙏🏽 Elder Jacqueline McCoy challenged us to look beyond the four walls of the church and understand the importance of making room for God's presence in our everyday lives!

🔥 KEY NOTES FROM THE TEACHING

📖 1. MAKE TIME FOR GOD IN YOUR SECRET PLACE!

A sanctuary is a sacred place set apart for God's presence—a place of peace, rest, safety, and personal communion with Him. We must be intentional about spending time in prayer and in the Word of God.

📌 The distractions of life, entertainment, and our daily routines can take away precious time that should be spent developing our spiritual lives. God wants to prepare us spiritually BEFORE trouble comes, but we must make ourselves available to Him!

🙏🏽 Don't allow the distractions of life to rob you of the time you need with God!

📖 2. YOUR BODY IS THE TEMPLE OF THE HOLY SPIRIT!

📍 1 Corinthians 6:19–20

“Your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost.”

We must understand that God's presence is not limited to a church building. When we receive the Holy Spirit, He dwells within us! Therefore, our lives, our choices, our words, and our actions should bring honor and glory to God.

🔥 We cannot simply come to church, participate in church activities, and then live however we please outside the sanctuary. HOLINESS MATTERS! God desires more than outward appearances and religious formalities. He wants our hearts and our lives to line up with His Word!

📖 3. JESUS GAVE US ACCESS TO THE PRESENCE OF GOD!

📍 Mark 15:37–38

When Jesus cried out and gave up His life on the cross, the veil of the temple was torn in two from top to bottom!

🔥 What a powerful reminder of the access we have to God through Jesus Christ! We don't have to wait for a special building or a particular location to seek His presence. We can come before Him in prayer, surrender, and worship!

📖 4. DEVELOP YOUR SPIRITUAL SENSITIVITY!

The more time we spend with God and commit ourselves to His Word, the more sensitive we become to the leading of the Holy Spirit.

Have you ever felt the Holy Spirit speaking to your heart when your words, attitudes, or actions were not pleasing to God? We must learn to listen, respond, and make the necessary corrections.

🙌🏽 The more we grow in the Word, the more we learn to recognize His voice and follow His leading!

❤️ OUR TAKEAWAY:

Don't just visit the sanctuary on Sunday—LIVE like you are the temple of God every day!

Let your body be a living sacrifice. Guard your heart. Make time for God. Walk in holiness. Be sensitive to the Holy Spirit, and allow the Word of God to transform your life from the inside out!

WHAT A WEEKEND! WHAT A MOVE OF GOD! WHAT A TIME IN HIS PRESENCE! ❤️‍🔥🙌🏽

Faith Christian Center International, we are STILL REJOICING over an unforgettable weekend filled with powerful preaching, divine confirmations, heartfelt celebration, and the refreshing presence of God! Our HOLY GATHERING 2026 was truly a time to remember, and we are still reflecting on everything God did!

🔥 HOLY GATHERING 2026 — A SEASON OF REFRESHING! 🔥

We were blessed to receive a powerful Word from Apostle Dr. Garfield Curlin on Friday and Saturday nights. The messages challenged us to step outside the box, examine our relationship with God, and go beyond simply knowing ABOUT Him to truly KNOW Him! We were stretched, strengthened, challenged, and encouraged to go DEEPER in our walk with the Lord!

❤️ 40 YEARS OF MINISTRY. 44 YEARS OF MARRIAGE. A LEGACY OF LOVE AND FAITHFULNESS! 💍🙌🏽

Sunday, we continued the celebration as we honored our very own Bishop Alonzo Tucker I and First Lady Delta Tucker for 40 YEARS of faithful pastoral ministry and leadership! What a tremendous blessing to celebrate leaders who have dedicated their lives to serving God, loving His people, and pouring into the lives of others!

And if 40 years of ministry wasn't enough to celebrate, we also rejoiced over 44 YEARS OF MARRIAGE! ❤️💍 What a testimony of love, commitment, perseverance, and God's faithfulness! We celebrate not only what God has done through them but also the beautiful legacy they continue to build in their home and in the Kingdom of God!

🔥 AND THE WORD KEPT CONFIRMING ITSELF! 🔥

We were also blessed by Apostle Gary Johnson, who delivered a powerful Word that confirmed messages God had already been speaking to His people! Isn't it amazing how God knows exactly what we need to hear, when we need to hear it? He is intentional, He is faithful, and His Word will NEVER return void!

🙌🏽 FCCI, WE HAVE SO MUCH TO THANK GOD FOR! 🙌🏽

To every guest, member, minister, volunteer, fellowship church, and supporter who helped make this weekend so special — THANK YOU! Your presence, prayers, love, and support helped make this gathering one to remember!

But listen, FAMILY — WE DIDN'T COME THIS FAR JUST TO GO BACK TO BUSINESS AS USUAL! 🔥

The refreshing doesn't stop when the gathering ends! The Word we received must be lived out. The confirmations we experienced must strengthen our faith. And the presence of God we encountered must continue to transform our everyday lives!

📖 “Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord.” — Acts 3:19 (KJV)

We came EXPECTING, God met us in His presence, and we are leaving with a renewed hunger, strengthened faith, and a greater desire to pursue Him!

THE HOLY GATHERING MAY BE OVER, BUT THE IMPACT IS CONTINUING 🔥🙌🏽

We are GRATEFUL for what God has done, EXCITED about what He is doing, and EXPECTANT for what is still to come!
