We celebrated Ava who graduated high school with her college prep diploma from Alpha’s school recently! She plans to take a gap year to get a job and start saving for college tuition while working on the application process for admission to the Occupational Therapy Assistant program at Washburn University. Heartfelt thanks to Dr. Matt Riegel who allowed Jayden to come in and observe while he performed surgeries on animals where he practices! Jayden has expressed interest in surgery as a career, so it was such a blessing for him to be able to see firsthand what surgery is like for a day. Thank you, Dr. Matt!!

We took the kids on a road trip to Branson the weekend before Christmas to enjoy a couple of days at Silver Dollar City, and to see the “David” play production at The Sight and Sound Theater. The kids had such a great time enjoying these amazing places and making special holiday memories together!

This trip was made possible with SDC tickets donated by the First Baptist Church of Burden, Kansas, “David” ticket funding by the Dewey Christian Church of Dewey, Oklahoma, and other trip funding provided by the Southwest Christian Church of Topeka, Kansas. Thank you so much for helping us make beautiful memories with the kids!!
