Before the day gets loud, Jesus shows us a better way.
Mark 1:35 says, “Very early in the morning, while it was still dark, Jesus got up, left the house and went off to a solitary place, where he prayed.”
Jesus was not living an easy, quiet, slow-paced life. People needed Him. Crowds followed Him. Demands surrounded Him.
But He still made space for the Father.
He didn’t wait until everything calmed down. He stepped away before the noise began.
And maybe that’s what some of us need this week. Not a perfect routine. Not an hour-long prayer plan. Just a quiet moment before the phone, the schedule, the pressure, and the problems take over.
A Bible open. A few honest words. A surrendered heart.
“Father, I need You today.”
The God who made the stars is still waiting in the quiet. And when we meet Him there, He doesn’t just change our morning. He begins reshaping our hearts.
