THIS FRIDAY AT ONEWAY 🔥 Pastor Tillman will be teaching on Principle 6: “Those who do not love the Lord will not help us serve the Lord.” Come learn what Scripture says about the people we allow to influence our lives and how the right relationships can help us stay committed to following Jesus. Friday at 7 PM — come ready to grow!

There is something powerful about watching someone stand in front of their church and say, “I belong to Jesus.”

We don’t always know everything that brought them to that moment. The prayers whispered when no one was listening. The years of trying to do life on their own. The moment they finally believed that His grace was for them, too.

But we get to witness their response: faith made public. A step of obedience. A life surrendered to the One who gave His life for them.

Sunday, October 18, is Baptism Sunday at The Grove, and there’s still time to register. If you’ve decided to follow Jesus and haven’t been baptized, we would love to walk with you through this next step.

“I do” is only the beginning. How we love each other afterward matters. 🤍

Pastor Gabe and Jessica spoke together today as we continued Focus on the Family, and it was so good. Through Ephesians 5:1–2, they reminded us that we love from our identity as beloved children of God—and Jesus sets the standard for how we love.

Love is a verb. It shows up in choosing patience, offering forgiveness, and serving each other when it costs us something. In marriage, those everyday choices to love sacrificially become an offering to the Lord.

Grove Kids and Grove Kids Jr had an awesome morning, too! We’re grateful for the people who pour into our children and help them know Jesus.

No Roots Youth tonight! Enjoy the evening with your family—and take today’s message home with you. 🤍🏡🍂

Let’s do Sunday together. Sometimes the hardest part is just showing up.

Especially when it’s been a while. When you’re coming alone. When you’re wondering if church is a place you can bring everything you’re walking through.

You can.

You can worship with a heavy heart. You can open your Bible with questions. You can take a step toward Jesus before you know what the next one looks like.

We’d love to spend Sunday with you at The Grove. Come join us tomorrow. 💚

Sometimes we’ve carried something for so long that we start to believe it’s who we are.

The hurt. The mistakes. The words someone spoke over us. But Jesus knows us more deeply than any of those things ever could. And what He says about us gives us hope to move forward. 🤍

Friday at Oneway, Alexis Brown of Praises in the Pod shared her heart and reminded us of the freedom that comes from finding our identity in Christ. There is something powerful about hearing someone’s testimony and realizing that the same God who has been faithful to them is present in your story, too.

That’s why these nights matter. We worship together, hear what God has done, and make room for honest conversations. We get to know the people beside us and remind each other to keep looking to Jesus. Nobody has to have it all together to walk through the doors.

Thank you, Alexis, for pointing us to Him. 🙌

If you need encouragement, community, or a place to begin again, join us at Oneway next Friday at 7 PM.

Our neighbors across the Southeast are on our hearts today. 🤍

We’re praying for families in Florida, Georgia, Alabama, and Louisiana—for safe places to shelter, protection over their homes, and peace in the uncertainty.

For the parents trying to keep little ones calm.
For those facing the storm alone.
For elderly neighbors and those with medical needs.
For first responders, linemen, and every person preparing to help.
For wisdom for local leaders and strength for the long hours ahead.
For churches to meet real needs with open doors and willing hands.

And for whatever comes next—for provision, rest, and people who will keep showing up long after the storm has passed.

“God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.” — Psalm 46:1

Grove family, take a moment to pray with us today. If you or someone you love is in the storm’s path, let us know how we can pray specifically.

That question you’ve been saving for “one day I’ll ask Pastor Gabe”? One day is here. 👀💬

YOU ASKED FOR IT is coming back this November!

We all have questions about the Bible, faith, and how to live it out. This series makes room to ask them—and your question could become part of a Sunday message!

Submit your questions anonymously, and Pastor Gabe will answer selected questions live on Sundays. No microphone handed to you. No standing up in front of everybody. Just an honest question and a chance for all of us to learn together. 🙌

You might be asking what someone else has been wondering, too. đź’ś

Good food, big laughs, and even better company! 🧡

Varsity gathered around the table for a sweet time of fellowship—sharing stories, catching up, and enjoying life together. There’s something special about being with people who make you laugh and remind you that you don’t have to walk through life alone.

We’re grateful for the friendships God is growing here. There’s still so much life to share and so many memories to make! 🍂
