Last Sunday at Covenant Baptist Church, we celebrated our graduates and all they have accomplished! To our graduates: We are so proud of you and thankful to have watched you grow through this season of life.

As you step into this next chapter, our prayer for you is that you will know God’s Word and stand firmly on the truth of His Word. The world will offer comfort while quietly draining your strength, but don’t drift—keep your eyes on Christ. Choose conviction over convenience, choose responsibility over being passive, and choose Christ over the approval of those around you.

Congratulations, graduates! Your church family loves you, supports you, and is praying for God to guide your steps and bless the journey ahead. 🎓

This week we had the opportunity to serve the teachers and staff at Perry High School, Perry, Georgia during Teacher Appreciation Week.

At CBC, we believe faithfulness matters. We believe showing up day after day, doing hard things well, and serving others quietly is honorable work before God. Teachers do that every single week.

In a world that feels increasingly chaotic, teachers carry a weight most people never see. Long hours, difficult situations, constant demands, and yet they continue investing in students and serving families in our community.

We just wanted to say thank you.

Thank you for loving students, serving families, and continuing to do the work even on the hard days. We are grateful for you, and we are thankful the Lord has placed people like you in our city.

HE IS RISEN.
AND THAT CHANGES EVERYTHING.

Jesus Christ was crucified, buried, and on the third day He rose again; Just as He said He would.
No one took His life. He laid it down. And He took it up again.

This is not just tradition.
This is not a religious holiday.
This is the announcement that the King has taken His throne.

And that means everything.

So come worship with us. Whether you’ve been in church your whole life or you haven’t stepped foot in one in years, come.
Not for a show.
Not for a production.
But to hear the Word, stand with the saints, and worship the risen Christ.

The room is quiet but not empty.

This is not a stage waiting on a performance. This is a place set apart for worship. A place where the Word of God will be opened, Christ will be proclaimed, and the saints will be strengthened.

Before the voices fill the room, before the songs rise, before the children shuffle and the pages turn—there is this: stillness. And even here, it preaches.

The Lord builds His church. Not by crowds, not by charisma, but by His Word and Spirit. And He is faithful to meet with His people.

Come ready. Come hungry. Come to worship.
