🍳What a sweet morning at Covenant Baptist Church! Our very first Kids Cook Sunday was such a special opportunity for our children to learn, serve, and work together.

Mr. Mike led the kids in a devotion from 1 Peter 4:10 “As each has received a gift, use it to serve one another, as good stewards of God’s varied grace.”

After learning that God has given each of us gifts to use in service to others, our kids put that lesson into practice! They worked together to cook breakfast for our church family—and they did a wonderful job!

Through them, we were reminded of the precious truth found in Psalm 127:3 “Behold, children are a heritage from the Lord, the fruit of the womb a reward.”

What a blessing it is to watch these children grow—not only in what they can do, but in their understanding that they have been given gifts by God to serve others and glorify Him.

We are so thankful for our Covenant Kids and for everyone who invests in teaching them, encouraging them, and giving them opportunities to serve. What a joy to watch the next generation learn to love and serve the church! 🍳🥞❤️

Sunday night, Covenant Baptist Church had the joy of ordaining Danny Noler as our Pastor of Students and Families and recognizing him as one of the elders in our plurality of pastors.

We are thankful for the Lord’s faithful work in Danny’s life, his love for Christ, his family, and His Church. We look forward to seeing God continue to use him as he equips the saints, shepherds families, and proclaims the truth of God’s Word.

Please join us in praying for Pastor Danny, Brittany, and their family as they continue serving Christ and His Church. Soli Deo Gloria.

A church that can worship together ought to be able to laugh together too.

We had a great time at skate night—lots of smiles, lots of fellowship, lots of adults trying to remember they’re not 16 anymore, and lots of reminders that gravity is still undefeated. Somehow everyone made it home (almost) in one piece!

Nights like these are a good reminder that Christian fellowship is one of God’s good gifts. The Christian life is more than Sunday morning; it’s sharing life together, encouraging one another, and enjoying the blessings God has given us.

Thanks to everyone who joined us! We’re already looking forward to the next one. 🛼

Last Sunday at Covenant Baptist Church, we celebrated our graduates and all they have accomplished! To our graduates: We are so proud of you and thankful to have watched you grow through this season of life.

As you step into this next chapter, our prayer for you is that you will know God’s Word and stand firmly on the truth of His Word. The world will offer comfort while quietly draining your strength, but don’t drift—keep your eyes on Christ. Choose conviction over convenience, choose responsibility over being passive, and choose Christ over the approval of those around you.

Congratulations, graduates! Your church family loves you, supports you, and is praying for God to guide your steps and bless the journey ahead. 🎓
