What a summer it has been! Julie and I will be home soon, and it has been incredibly rewarding. We can share pictures of places and a few people, but there are stories we cannot tell here and those are about people. Thank you for all of your support and prayers.

Miss D is working in northern Jordan this week at a sports camp. She is in a beautiful mountain town and having a blast. We will soon be taking applications for Spain Spring Break 27 and Jordan Summer 27.

Our volunteer is loving her time in Jordan. Julie and I spoke with her this morning and she is building some great relationships with her co-teachers, students, and fellow volunteers. This week she will be moving into working at a sports camp with girls. Pray for her remaining 2 and a half weeks that she will be well-used.

Our summer volunteer in Jordan is trying out all sorts of adventures and foods so that students thinking of going to Jordan in 2027 can have an idea of what is in store for them. Here she is trying mansef - a communal meal eaten with the right hand. 2027 applications will open soon.

We have a student who is doing a 5-week service trip in Jordan. She arrived after a 12 hour flight and went straight to work! She will be serving at a summer camp and seeing some incredible things and meeting amazing people.

Gifts were given years ago, allowing Yolanda to cook for our mission teams in the Trujillo area. Yesterday, she passed them on to Iglesia Sublime Gracia (Sublime Grace Church) in Las Delicias, Moche, near Trujillo. This way, the gifts continue to be put to work, benefiting others. Thank you, Yolanda, and thank you. You, Pastor, for your work of reaching people and helping others.

The past two nights have been really encouraging, as we visited places where our teams have worked before. Tonight, we were in San Carlos above Laredo. 4 years ago, our team was there on Mother's Day on a Sunday morning - sort of a naturally big crowd. Tonight it was an evening service, but lots of people! 2 people surrendered their lives to Christ. The church has about 250 children and teens coming each Saturday through a ministry they are doing with Compassion International. It is great to see work continuing and growing.
