Coming to a women’s conference alone can feel intimidating. Norma’s testimony reminds us that fellowship is part of the gift of gathering. She described last year as “a blessing, a true blessing for my soul” and spoke of “the fellowship with my new sisters in Christ.” Whether you come with someone or decide to come on your own, you are welcome.

If you have spent a season pouring into others, Vera's words may feel familiar. She shared that at times she feels empty because she serves in her church but after attending the conference, she came home rested and “with a cup full.” We are not promising the same story for everyone. We are simply inviting women to come, worship, fellowship and seek the Lord together.

Esteemed Pastors and brethren of the AWA

Greetings!

As you know a devastating 7.4-magnitude earthquake struck the western part of Colombia on Monday, August 10, 2026, near San José del Palmar. This was the strongest earthquake recorded in Colombian history, leaving thousands injured, with some still missing, and others deceased. The worst casualties and fatalities occurred in such cities as Pereira, Manizales, Quibdó and Cali, with all suffering extensive damage, and declaring a state of emergency for that region.

Our Regional Director of the South America Region of Colombia, Pastor José Luis Gamarra, from our AWA affiliate church, Iglesia Pentecostes Apostolica del Nombre, in Soacha, Cundinamarca, Colombia, has assessed the needs of all the affected cities and has now opened a “Donations Campaign” to assist all the earthquake victims in Colombia.

Attached is the “Donations Campaign” flyer with all the pertinent information to donate for relief of those in need. Please remit your donations through NEQUI (Colombia’s digital wallet and mobile banking platform) number in the flyer (3194077604), or to our AWA Headquarters, PO Box 2102, Peoria, Arizona, 85380, labeled “Colombia’s Earthquake Relief.” 100% of your donation will be sent to our Regional Director of the South America Region of Colombia for distributions, not only to our brethren in Christ, but to all in need who have suffered through this disaster.

Finally, we give thanks to our Lord Jesus Christ for His love and protection of our brothers and sisters in Christ in Colombia, and for their families affected by this earthquake. We ask each and every congregation to continue to pray for the rescue workers, for the affected families, and for our churches that have become a refuge and God’s hiding place for those im need. For “God is our refuge and strength, always ready to help in times of trouble. So we will not fear when earthquakes come and the mountains crumble into the sea.” Psalm 46:1-2 (NLT).
