Meet Charlie! 🐾💛 Charlie is our sweet PLP pup who brings a calm, comforting presence to our days. He gives our kiddos opportunities to practice gentle touches, empathy, patience, confidence, and caring for others—and sometimes, a quiet moment with Charlie is just what a little (or big) heart needs.

We love the joy, connection, and sense of comfort he brings to our preschool, and we’re so thankful he gets to be part of the PLP family!

Our Ducklings have been busy exploring through meaningful play—strengthening fine motor skills with a pasta activity, recognizing the special people in their families, and practicing sorting, choosing, and independent play.

At this age, the simplest activities are doing so much important work. Every reach, pinch, point, choice, and conversation is helping build growing brains, confidence, language, and connection.

We are so lucky to have Mother Goose visit PLP each month to share stories, nursery rhymes, and a little reading magic with our children! These special visits aren’t just fun—reading aloud exposes young children to richer vocabulary and supports language, early literacy, cognitive, and social-emotional development.

We love creating joyful experiences that help our little learners fall in love with books and reading!

An important reminder… 😉💗

We’re a PRESCHOOL, not a daycare.
(Don’t let that word come outta your mouth around here 😂)

Yes, we nurture your babies—and love them BIG—but we’re also teaching, learning, exploring, building friendships, practicing independence, developing social-emotional skills, learning about Jesus, and laying the foundation for a lifetime of learning and being a great human. ✏️📚🖍️✝️

And those amazing people in our classrooms? They’re early childhood professionals. They plan lessons using developmentally appropriate curriculum, create meaningful learning experiences, understand child development, guide big emotions, encourage growing independence, communicate with families, and pour an incredible amount of heart and skill into what they do. 💗 They’re not “just babysitting”—they’re teaching.

There is SO much intention behind the play happening in our classrooms every single day. Our play is purposeful, our learning is intentional, and these little years matter BIG.
