623-972-6785. Guiding Principles:

Jesus is Lord. Everyone is welcome. Love changes people. Everyone has something to offer. The world needs what we have. Our mission is to share Christ with the world and grow disciples for Jesus! A People of Grace
This is a community founded on the belief that God has, "done it all in Christ Jesus!" We do not earn God's favor nor do we work to gain God's grace. Grace is the gift God has revealed to the world and it is by faith or trust in God's goodness that it finds a home in us. A People of Faith
As followers of Jesus, we are aware that we are both saints and sinners at all times. Faith is simply trusting in God's goodness regardless of our status. A People of the Word
Our tradition understands God's Word to be alive. The Word is revealed to us in the life of Jesus and through the work of the Holy Spirit. It is witnessed through the bible and the church, yet is bigger than either; calling us into a loving covenantal relationship with God, creation, and with one another. A People of Reason
This is a community were we recognize that people might disagree about a variety of matters, including our religious beliefs as well as our piety. Our disagreements reflect the diversity of God's creativity yet we find unity in the uncompromising promise of God's love revealed through Jesus. A People of Compassion
This is a community which takes Jesus' words, 'the Son of Man came to serve not to be served' to heart. We see ourselves as a church without walls called to minister to the heart and the hurts around us. Our purpose is focused more around getting the church (the followers of Jesus) out into the world than it is to get the people into church. A People of Promise
We are a community who believe this creative God continues to be at work redeeming the world. While understanding the realities of our sin, we fearlessly trust in God's future for the church and the world. We are grateful to be a community representing a variety of generations. Together we learn from the experience of one another how better to love as God first loved us. This is the gift we offer to future generations.

We spend so much of life trying to earn, achieve, and prove ourselves.

The good news of the Gospel is that our hope rests not in what we can accomplish, but in what Christ has already done for us.

On Sunday June 28th, right after worship in our Fellowship Hall, we will be making Peanut Butter and Jelly sandwiches for the Heat Respite at our sister congregation, St. John’s Lutheran Church.

We will also be collecting peanut butter, jelly, and new or gently used reusable water bottles to help support our neighbors in need this summer.

All ages are welcome and encouraged to volunteer!

Letter Writing Campaign for Hunger

On Sunday, May 31st, members of Peace gathered after worship in the fellowship hall to write letters to our Federal Senators and Representatives about hunger in our country. Debby and Lyle Bare hosted and made the process super easy and user friendly. Thank you for advocating for our neighbors who hunger. We hope you’ll join us next time!

The path Jesus calls us to isn't always the easiest.

But it leads to something far greater than anything we could build on our own. ✨

This month’s Preschool Teacher Spotlight is Letty! ✨

Letty has such a heart for children and loves getting to be part of those sweet “lightbulb moments” when little ones learn something new for the very first time. One of her favorite parts of teaching preschool is watching children realize just how smart, capable, and confident they really are.

To Letty, PLP feels like home because of the welcoming community and the relationships she gets to build with both children and families. She brings so much joy into the classroom through songs, laughter, and meaningful everyday moments.

Outside the classroom, Letty loves crocheting, sipping a dark roast iced mocha, snacking on Doritos and bean dip, and dreaming about Disney World. Her favorite children’s book is Chicka Chicka Boom Boom, and her favorite classroom phrase is a very enthusiastic “OMG!”

Letty says every smile reminds her she is exactly where God wants her to be, and we are so grateful for the way she loves and serves our preschoolers each day. 💛

Camp Hope 2026: Inventors
Week 1: July 6-10th
Week 2: July 13-17th

What is Camp Hope?

Camp Hope is a student-run, adult-mentored Christian day camp ministry where campers learn Bible stories and connect with staff. The student leaders are formed with support from adults within the congregation. Staff have a place to learn and grow as leaders and campers make deep connections with their fellow campers and staff mentors. All who participate deepen their faith and grow as disciples of Christ.

What does the Camp day look like?

We start and end each camp day with Alpha and Omega, our worship time. Campers are grouped into small groups according to age/grade and are led throughout their day by their Small Group Leader. Small groups rotate through Art, Drama, Games, Snack, and STEM. The camp day runs from 9:30am to 3:30pm. We offer a before and after camp option for an additional fee: 7:30-9:30am and 3:30-5:30pm.
