Morning Glory Fellowship Word for Today (by Elder Donna Knight): "Get Connected and Stay Connected with God" Luke 15:11-21. A disconnection occurred when the younger son asked for his inheritance and left. He spent all that he had be given. Then a famine occurred in the land. He hit rock bottom. Sometimes we disconnect ourselves from God. We separate from our spiritual connection and start to do what we want to do. The grass isn't always greener on the other side. We stop praying, fasting, and studying the Word of God. We lose the correct spiritual nourishment that is needed. We experience a spiritual famine. The young man finally came to himself. He reconnected with his father. We can also come to ourselves and reconnect to the Father. He will receive us with open arms. Stay connected to the Father. Don't disconnect. We stay connected through prayer, fasting, studying the Word of God, and operating with a posture of obedience. Thank God for the reconnection. Never leave the lifeline. It's very vital to our lives. Don't allow the enemy to lead you astray. To reconnect with God, simply repent. Get your mind and spirit right and reconnect if you have disconnected. Don't stay disconnected too long. Don't severe the connection. Dont get carried away by every way and doctrine (Ephesians 4:14). Thank God for Divine connections. They are strategically ordered by God. Be consistent with God. Talk to God. Don't lean on your own understanding (Proverbs 3:5). A permanent solution to a temporary problem is staying connected to the Father. Get connected and stay connected!!!

Morning Glory Fellowship Word for Today (by Elder Curtis Beasley ): "The Debt is Paid, Now Walk in Freedom" John 8:32 & Colossians 2:13,14. You shall know the truth and the truth shall make you free. Whom the Son sets free is free indeed (John 8:36).There's no reason to pay a debt that's already been paid. Jesus already paid the debt. He paid it all. Believe. Stop paying on a debt that's not owed. Stop carrying shame and guilt. The chains have been broken. Walk in freedom. The account has already been settled. Stop making emotional and spiritual payments on a debt that's not owed. Stop allowing the enemy to bring to your remembrance what you did. Remember what Jesus did. The cross was a complete settlement of the debt, not a down payment. JESUS PAID IT ALL.. Don't allow yesterday's failures rob you of today's opportunities. There is no condemnation in Christ Jesus (Romans 8:1). Don't carry yesterday's burdens. God has given you new mercies for a new day. He's given you grace. Stop carrying what Jesus has already conquered. The debt has already been paid, now walk in freedom. Freedom is the presence of Christ. You are not longer defined by failures. The enemy wants you to focus on your scars but God wants you to focus on the Savior. On the cross, Jesus said "It is finished". The debt has been paid. You've been forgiven. You've been redeemed. You've been restored. You've been justified. You have been set free. The debt has been paid, now walk in freedom.
