They did you wrong! But Christ lives in you, so that means your response should look different.

People may mistreat you, talk about you, misunderstand you, or wound you but don’t let someone else’s darkness pull you out of the character of Christ.

Jesus said to turn the other cheek. To go the extra mile. To bless those who curse you. That’s not weakness; that’s evidence that God has changed you.

Anybody can love people who are easy to love. But when Christ lives in you, you choose kindness even when it’s undeserved. You choose forgiveness even when your flesh wants revenge.

Don’t let bitterness harden your heart. Stay soft enough for God to use you. 🙏

🔥 Sunday can ignite your faith, but a relationship with God is built in the everyday moments throughout the week. Staying grounded spiritually does not require perfection, but it does require intentionality.

Here are 3 ways to stay on the narrow path with Jesus:

📖 Spend time in Scripture with the goal of being transformed, not just informed. Let the Holy Spirit reveal the Word to you and challenge the way you think and act.

🙏🏾 Talk to God honestly throughout the day instead of only reaching for Him in crisis moments. Real prayer is a conversation, not just asking for wants and needs (though He does provide).

🤝 Stay connected to people who push you closer to Jesus. Healthy community helps keep your heart encouraged, accountable, and grounded when life gets heavy.

Depressed? Sleeping all day? Mentally exhausted? Start thanking God anyway. Not because the pain isn’t real, but because God is still good in the middle of it.

If you want joy, you’ve got to start thanking God before the breakthrough comes.

Joy was never meant to be based on circumstances. Anybody can smile when everything is going right. But real joy is trusting God when life feels heavy.

Thank Him for waking you up.
Thank Him for not leaving you.
Thank Him that this season is not your ending.

The enemy wants your focus trapped on what’s wrong. Gratitude shifts your eyes back onto God.

You may not be where you want to be yet, but you’re not abandoned. God is still working, still healing, still carrying you through this. 🙏

As a new week begins, remember that purpose is not only found in what is being built through your work but in how people experience you while you are there! 🏢🤝

The coworker everyone avoids still deserves kindness. The exhausted manager still deserves patience. The employee barely holding it together still deserves dignity. Scripture says to work as unto the Lord, and that looks less like chasing a position or certain success and more like becoming the kind of person who carries peace into stressful places. 🙏🏾
