🤍 A Prayer for a New Heart & a New Identity 🤍
“A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you: and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you an heart of flesh.”

Heavenly Father,
I come before You asking You to do in me what I cannot do on my own. Take this heart of stone and replace it with a heart of flesh. Soften the places in me that have grown hard through pain, disappointment, rejection, and fear.
Heal the wounds I have carried for so long. Help me release the walls I built to protect myself, and teach me that I can have a tender heart without being afraid of getting hurt.
Give me a new identity, Lord. Help me stop defining myself by who stayed, who left, or who failed to see my worth. Remind me that I am more than my past, my mistakes, and my wounds. My pain may be part of my story, but it does not have to define who I become.
Teach me to love without losing myself, to give without abandoning my own needs, and to forgive without accepting what harms me. Give me the courage to stop putting my life on hold out of fear and to embrace the life You have given me.
Create in me a clean heart, renew my mind, and restore my spirit. Help me walk forward with faith instead of fear, grace instead of shame, and the courage to become the person You created me to be.
I don't ask You to erase my story. I ask You to redeem it. I don't ask You to make me someone else. I ask You to heal me into the person You created me to be.
I surrender who I have been, who I am today, and who I am becoming. Make me new, Father.
