Central Church began with prayer gatherings held in 1939 which continued until the church was organized as a part of the International Pentecostal Holiness Church (IPHC) in the early 1940’s on Pottery Plant Road (now Fairfield Drive). During the early 1960’s, under the leadership of Reverend J.E. McGraw, the church continued to grow during a powerful, on-going revival where numerous people surrend

ered to Jesus Christ in each service. Due to its growth, property was donated on Beverly Parkway by Mr. Glen Jernigan to the church for relocation where the current facility was built. The dedication service was held on Sunday, December 5, 1965. Over the 50 year history at our present campus, the church as had the following previous names: First Pentecostal Holiness Church, Trinity Tabernacle, and Words of Life. The church has been blessed throughout the years by the ministry of several pastors. On Sunday, December 6, 2015, the church celebrated its 50 Year Campus Anniversary at its present location at 405 Beverly Parkway. For over 70 years Central Church continues to be a Christ Centered Community of Compassionate and Creative Followers impacting our City for Jesus! Today, under the leadership of Mike Pickett (Lead Pastor), Central Church is a vibrant and exciting Spirit-filled, multi-ethnic and multi-generational worshiping community. Our desire is to reach people with the Gospel of Jesus Christ which has the power to change lives forever!

Good morning beloved, let this day be one of making others around you feel special, keeping in mind your attitude is everything. Strive to be Christ like, remember Jesus demonstrated how we are to live and walk out our faith. He told us to be the salt, the light in this world.

Matthew 5:14-16
(14 Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid.

15 Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house.

16 Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven).

Matt 5:13
(You are the salt of the earth. But what good is salt if it has lost its flavor? Can you make it salty again? It will be thrown out and trampled underfoot as worthless).

Tell someone I love you, but then show love not just empty words to say.

God loves you and demonstrates it every day.

God bless you and if you don’t know God then invite Him into your hearts.

As I wake up this morning as every morning and my pray goes as follows;

Father God grace me with your love, cover me in your blood, let all who come in contact with me have favor that you may be glorified. Forgive me of any sins I’ve committed knowingly and any sins I’ve committed unknowingly. Forgive me Lord and show me how to forgive those who despitefully use me, and make me walk after you in your true love Lord Jesus.

Fill me with you’re Holy Ghost, that HE, may have me do you’re will and not mine. Bless this day Lord that I can share you and be filled with your words, with all who I come in contact with, that you be glorified and manifested in me, In Jesus name, Amen.

Gal 5:22
“(But the Holy Spirit produces this kind of fruit in our lives: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. There is no law against these things!)

Do you know Jesus Christ, or only about him? Most people think know about him and sitting in church every Sunday saves them, but look at this

Rev 3:15-16 tells us “(I know your works: you are neither cold nor hot. Would that you were either cold or hot! So, because you are lukewarm, and neither hot nor cold, I will spit you out of my mouth)”.

So today I want to invite you to ask Jesus Christ into your hearts but to also invite the Holy Ghost with him, ask that you be filled with the Holy Ghost as this is the Spirit of God that breaths these gifts into your heart and strengthens your faith and self discipline.

(Do not be afraid or discouraged, for the LORD will personally go ahead of you. He will be with you; he will neither fail you nor abandon you.
Deuteronomy 31:8).

Did you know that If you are a child of God, then you never have been, and never will be, forsaken by God. Jesus made sure of this on the cross. He said, “I will never fail you. I will never abandon you” (Hebrews 13:5).

We are never forsaken even in our most toughest moments or challenges.

But yet we abandon God whenever we have doubt, mistrust and don’t permit Him to finish the task of whatever it is He is doing to protect, heal or even provide for us.

Do you really know God or only about Him? His word, covering and provisional way never leaves us or forsakes us.

Ok FB perps, I am praising God for the best care and treatments from my posse of angels at the radiation department of the Woodlands for my healed, dissolved cancer . God has healed me snd the precious people God surrounded me were my angels. God bless them.
I also want to thank my primary care person and her staff Rmily Heaton at Sacred Heart Tiger Point for the outstanding care they provide me year after year. I love all these great people called of God to heal, care for us. God bless them all, in Jesus name. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️🙏🙏🙏

Acts 1:7–8: "But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be My witnesses in Jerusalem and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth

Again I can not sleep and is given this message, praise God.

We walk in power of the Holy Spirit, so why do we not act like it? It is time for believers to walk in the light, the power and the gifts to do the work we are called too. If it was not so, Jesus would have not told and Paul would have not instructed us of our rights in Christ.

However my grafted family members we will not know this unless we walk first in Gods love and unwavering faith knowing these things given by God by His Holy Spirit.

Thus says the Lord.

I am calling for prayers for Mr. Trump, his family and anyone’s families injured at todays rally, I call everyone on both sides of the spectrum to pray for God to touch hearts of our nation. We need to come together without animosity and hatred. We need to seek Gods face and repent seeking Gods forgiveness NOW, place God back in our foundation. God help America and protect us from all the terrorist invading our nation and remember Love conquers all.

Father God we come to you on bender knees seeking your guidance, asking your forgiveness, heal our nation in Jesus name, Amen.
