Psalm 119:165-176 O Lord!
Great peace have those who love your law; nothing can make them stumble. I wait for your salvation, O Lord, and I follow your commands. My soul keeps your testimonies for I love them greatly. I obey your precepts and your statutes, for all my ways are known to you. Let my cry come before you, O Lord, give me understanding according to your word. Let my plea come before you, deliver me according to your promise. May my lips overflow with praise as you teach me your decrees. My tongue will sing of your word, for all your commandments are righteous. Let your hand be ready to help me as I have chosen your precepts. I long for your salvation, O Lord, and your law is my delight. Let my soul live that I may praise you, and may your laws sustain me. I have strayed at times like a lost sheep, seek your servant for I do not forget your commandments.

Deacon’s Corner - Scripture for today's thought:
Hebrews 13:1-8 Sacrifices Pleasing to God
Let brotherly love continue. Do not neglect to show hospitality to strangers, for by doing so, some have entertained angels unknowingly. Remember those who are in prison as if you were their fellow prisoner, and those who are mistreated as you yourselves were suffering. Let marriage be held in honor among all, and the marriage bed be kept pure, for God will judge the immoral. Keep your life free from love of money and be content with what you have,, for God has said, "I will never leave you nor forsake you." So we can say with confidence, "The Lord is my helper; I will not be afraid, what can man do to me? Remember your leaders, those who speak to you the word of God. Consider the outcome of their way of life, and imitate their faith. Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever!
Romans 12:9-10,12
Let love be genuine. Abhor what is evil. Hold fast to what is good. Love one another with mutual affection; outdo one another showing honor. Rejoice in hope, be patient in suffering, persevere in prayer. L🚂

1st Timothy 4:4-13 Be a Good Servant
For everything created by God is good, and nothing is to be rejected, if it is received by giving thanks. For it is made holy by the word of God and prayer. If you put these things before the brothers, you will be a good servant of Jesus Christ, being trained in the words of faith and of the good doctrine that you have followed. Have nothing to do with silly myths. Rather train yourself for godliness. For while bodily training is of some value, godliness is of value in every way, as it holds promise for the present life and also for the life to come. The saying is trustworthy and deserving of full acceptance. For to this end we toil and strive, because we have our hope set on the living God, who is the Savior of all people, especially of those who believe. Command and teach these things. Let no one despise you for your youth, but set the believers an example in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith, in purity. Until I come, devote yourself to the public reading of Scripture, to exhortation, to teaching.
Matthew 6:34

Colossians 3:1-10,12-14,17 Rules For Holy Living
If then you have been raised with Christ, seek the things that are above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God. Set your mind on things that are above, not on earthly things. For you have died and your life is hidden with Christ in God. When Christ who is your life appears, then you will also appear with him in glory. Put to death therefore what is in your earthly nature: sexual immorality, impurity, lust, evil desires and greed, which is idolatry. Because of these the wrath of God is coming. You may have walked in these ways, in a life you once lived. But now you must rid yourselves of all such things as these, anger, rage, malice, slander and obscene talk from your mouth. Do not lie to each other seeing that you have put off the old self with its practices. You have put on the new self, which is being renewed in knowledge after the image of its Creator. Put on then, as God's chosen ones, holy and beloved, compassionate hearts, kindness, humility, gentleness, meekness and patience. Bear with each other and if one has a complaint , forgive whatever grievances you may have against each other. Forgive as the Lord forgave you. And above all these virtues, put on love, which binds them all together in perfect harmony. And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the father through him. L🚂

Psalm 100:1-5 Giving Thanks
Make a joyful noise to the Lord, all the earth! Serve the Lord with gladness. Come into his presence with singing. Know the Lord, he is God! It is he who made us, and we are his; we are his people, and the sheep of his pasture. Enter his gates with thanksgiving and his courts with praise! Give thanks to him; bless his name. For the Lord is good; his everlasting love endures forever, and his faithfulness to all generations. Amen!

Deuteronomy 8:1,5-11,17-18 Remember the Lord your God
The whole commandment that I command you today, you shall be careful to do, that you may live and multiply and possess the land promised to your forefathers by the Lord. Know in your heart that as a man disciplines his son, the Lord your God disciplines you. So you shall keep and observe the commandments of the Lord by walking in his ways and revering him. For the Lord your God has brought you into a good land--a land filled with pools of water, with streams flowing in the valleys and hills. A land of wheat and barley, vines and fig trees, a land of olive trees and honey. A land where bread will not be scarce and you will lack nothing; a land where where rocks are iron and you can dig copper out of the hills. When you have eaten and are satisfied, praise the Lord your God for the good land he has given you. Be careful that you do not forget the Lord your God, failing to observe his commands, his laws and decrees which have been given to you this day. You may say to yourself, "My power and the strength of my hands have produced my wealth." But remember the Lord your God, for it is he who gives you the ability to produce wealth, and so confirms his covenant, which he swore to your forefathers, as it is today.

Romans 13:8-14 Fulfilling the Law Through Love
Let no debt remain outstanding, except the continuing debt to love one another, for he who loves his fellow man has fulfilled the law. For the commandments, "You shall not commit adultery, You shall not murder, You shall not steal, You shall not covet, and and any other commandments which are summed up in this word: "You shall love your neighbor as yourself." Love does no wrong to a neighbor, therefore love is the fulfilling of the law. And do this, understanding the present time, the hour has come to wake up from your slumber because our salvation is nearer now than we first believed. The night is nearly gone and the day is at hand. So then let us cast off the works of darkness and put on the armor of light. Let us walk properly and behave decently, as in the day time, not in or**es and drunkenness, not in sexual immorality and debauchery, not in dissension and jealously. Rather, clothe yourselves with the Lord Jesus Christ, and do not think about how to gratify the desires of sinful nature.
Romans 12:12
Rejoice in hope, be patient in tribulation, be constant in prayer.

Psalm 16:1-11 You Won't Abandon My Soul
Keep me safe, O God, for in you I take refuge. I say to the Lord, "You are my Lord; apart from you I have no good thing." As for the saints in the land, they are the glorious ones, in whom is all my delight. The sorrows of those who run after other gods will multiply. I will not pour out their libations of blood or take up their names on my lips. Lord, you have chosen my portion and my cup for me; you have made my lot secure. The boundary lines have fallen for me in beautiful places, I have a beautiful inheritance. I will praise the Lord who counsels me; even at night my heart instructs me. I have set the Lord always before me; because he is at my right hand, I Will Not Be Shaken. Therefore my heart is glad and my whole being rejoices; my flesh also dwells secure. For you will not abandon my soul to a place of darkness or allow corruption in my life. You have made known to me the Path of Life, in your presence there is fullness of joy, at your right hand eternal pleasures are forevermore.

Grace be with all who love our Lord Jesus Christ with love incorruptible.
Lamentations 3:22-26 Great Is Your Faithfulness
The everlasting love of the Lord never ceases; his mercies never come to and end. They are new every morning; great is your faithfulness. "The Lord is my portion," says my soul, therefore I will hope in him. The Lord is good to those who wait for him, to the soul who seeks him.
1st John 4:7-12 The Love of God
Beloved, let us love one another, for love is from God, and whoever loves has been born of God and knows God. Anyone who does not love does not know God, because God is love. In this, God showed his love among us, that He sent his one and only Son into the world that we might live through him. In this is love, not that we have loved God but he loved us and sent his Son as an atoning sacrifice for our sins. Beloved, if God so loved us, we should also love one another. No one has ever seen God; but if we love one another, God lives in us and his love is perfected in us.
Jeremiah 29:13

Matthew 7:1-2,7-8,12-14 All Shall Be Judged
Judge not, that you be not judged. For in the same way you judge others, you will be judged, and with the measure you use, it will be measured to you. Ask and it will be given to you, seek and you will find, knock and the door will be opened for you. For everyone who asks receives, he who seeks finds, and to the one who knocks it will be opened. So. in everything, do unto others what you would have them do unto you, for this sums up the Law and the Prophets. Enter by the narrow gate. For the gate is wide and the way is easy that leads to destruction, and those who enter by it are many. But narrow is the gate and the way is hard that leads to life, and those who find it are few.
Matthew 6:9-13 The Lord's Prayer
Pray then like this: "Our Father who art in heaven, hallowed be your name. Your kingdom come, your will be done , on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us. Lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil. For thine is the kingdom, the power and the glory for ever and ever, Amen." L🚂

Do not judge but try to understand others. Accept all with an open heart. Although God knows your need, he still wants you to ask, seek and find. Enter through the narrow gate and find life.
