A Fully Egalitarian network that trains global majority planters to develop holistically-minded, justice-oriented churches right from the start.

OUR MISSION

To train and support Black and Brown planters to establish indigenous, holistic, justice-oriented churches right from the start. We know most planters want to start multi-ethnic churches but we also know that a church not focused on justice and equity will only get so far, especially in communities of color. If you want a successful multi-ethnic church you have to plan for it and preferably you are from the neighborhood you wish to plant in. Our facilitators of color have lived at the intersection of faith and justice, many have planted and pastored churches around the country. Most have the scars of “church in a box” thinking as well. Every church should be not only aware of justice and equity, but seek to practice in ways that showcase that awareness.

The future of the American Church cannot be understood through only one cultural lens.

Latino communities are not simply an audience churches need to figure out how to reach. Latino theologians, pastors, scholars, planters, and communities are already helping shape how Christianity is being understood, practiced, and expressed.

Part of shepherding faithfully is being willing to listen to voices that have too often been treated as peripheral when they have been contributing all along.

We are officially 10 days away from gathering in Charlotte, North Carolina, for The Word Won’t Wait: Urgent Preaching for Urgent Times.

Pastors, preachers, ministry leaders, Gospel communicators, and others who have spent this season pouring into people will come together for two days of preaching, worship, mentorship, meaningful conversation, fellowship, and spiritual refreshing.

Leadership can teach us how to read a room.

Wisdom teaches us when reading the room has turned into changing ourselves simply to make everyone else comfortable.

Rest can become especially difficult for people who are accustomed to being needed.

Those who care for others need care too.

Ministry can make it easy to normalize pouring out without paying attention to what is happening internally. But sustainable leadership requires us to recognize our own humanity alongside the humanity of those we serve.

Receiving care is not a failure of leadership. Sometimes it is part of learning how to lead well.
