Healthy ministry grows when leaders understand that every person entering our communities carries a story.

Trauma-informed leadership equips us to create spaces where people can feel seen, heard, cared for, and supported with wisdom and compassion. It also gives ministry leaders practical and biblical resources they can carry into the communities they serve.

We are grateful for leaders like Priscilla who enter these spaces ready to learn, share, and grow. Her experience reminds us of the transformation that becomes possible when leaders invest in becoming better equipped to care for people.

Justice becomes visible through the way we live our faith.

It shows up in how we lead and serve, whose voices we make room for, how we respond to the needs around us, and how our communities experience the love of Jesus through our actions. Micah 6:8 gives us a beautiful picture of this calling: to do justice, love mercy, and walk humbly with God.

Throughout September, we are focusing on Justice in Action and exploring what happens when our theology moves from belief into practice. May our churches become communities where the Gospel is proclaimed clearly and the heart of Christ is demonstrated faithfully.
