Big news for our Pines campus announced at yesterday’s service! 🤍
ICYMI, we’re excited to welcome Pastor Mike Scruby and his wife, Gretchen, and their kiddos to the Pines Family! They’ll be around more regularly, so be sure to say hello and give them a warm welcome—we’re expectant for all that God will do through their lives.
We also want to share that after much prayer, Pastor Jonathan and Olivia will be stepping into a new season with our Plantation campus at the end of August, continuing their heart to expand God’s Kingdom and serve the Hispanic community in South Florida.
Five years ago, God placed a vision on Pastor Jonathan’s heart to plant a campus in Pembroke Pines—and because of his obedience, countless lives have been impacted and a true church family has been built. We are so grateful for the way he and Olivia have faithfully led with faith, courage, and love.
This is a bittersweet moment, but we trust where God leads, He is faithful. We’re grateful that Calvary has always been “one church that meets in many locations,” and that the relationships built here—especially with the Gomez family—will continue as part of that larger family.
Between now and August 30, let’s be intentional about loving, honoring, and encouraging Pastor Jonathan and Olivia as they continue serving in Pines, and extending our love to Mike and Gretchen at the same time!
