Richard Riepe is a devoted Christian, who delivers our Sunday message each week. He brings us a more clear vision of the Bo

oks of the Bible to strengthen our walk with our Lord. Richard is devoted to Gods Word and brings an inspirational sermon, each week. If you have no church home; come visit us. We’d like to be a friend, a spiritual brother or sister, helping to support your relationship with the Lord and to grow spiritually. Music flows from our pianist lending to our voices the joyful sound of hymns. Lyrics from song books are projected on the screen.
• We support our Veterans, with the Honor Flight, (network of Kansas City Mo.)
• We also Support, The Can Project (Caring About Nutrition, Ray-more Public School’s Foundation).
• We also have a ministry at the A.B.C nursing home in Harrisonville.
• On every second Sunday of the month we have a brunch after the church service.

“I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.”
Why this matters
Jesus speaks these words during His final conversation with the disciples before the crucifixion. Thomas had just said, “Lord, we don’t know where you are going.” Jesus responds by making the path unmistakably clear: access to God, salvation, and eternal life is found only in Him.

Samson’s story begins with a barren woman, a fearful husband, a sinful nation, and a child who will grow up with serious flaws — yet God steps in anyway. Judges 13 reminds us that God’s calling is rooted in His grace, not our perfection. He chooses the unlikely, empowers the imperfect, and begins deliverance long before anyone sees the final victory.

We Need to pray for Our Land to be healed!
Lord, Have mercy on our land. Heal what is broken, restore what is wounded, and unite what has been divided. Let Your peace push back every fear, Your justice rise in every community, and Your love guide our leaders and our people. Renew us, revive us, and turn our hearts back to You. Amen.

You’re fighting the wrong enemy. That’s the core message of Judges 12:1–7 — a tragic moment when God’s people turned their swords on each other instead of the real threat. Ephraim wasn’t fighting Ammon, Midian, or Philistia. They were fighting their own brothers. And 42,000 died because pride, jealousy, and wounded ego mattered more than unity.

This week’s Sermon,
The Spirit of the Lord comes upon Jephthah, enabling him to defeat the Ammonites decisively. But before the battle, Jephthah makes a vow: “Whatever comes out of the door of my house… shall be the LORD’s, and I will offer it up as a burnt offering.”
This vow was unnecessary—God had already empowered him. It was a mixture of fear, insecurity, and misguided zeal.
