Outreach is woven into the culture of First Church. We believe in being a church that shows up, gives generously, and makes an impact in the communities we call home!

The lines God draws aren’t meant to hold us back. They’re meant to lead us into true freedom. 🤍

Today, we’re learning what God taught us about abiding in His truth, guarding our faith, and trusting the One who guides our lives.

Grace gives us a clean slate. Truth gives us the lines. And with Jesus, we can always start a new story!

Are we following the Jesus of Scripture, or a version of Him we’ve made more comfortable?

It’s possible to know His name, speak His language, and still miss who He truly is.

Jesus isn’t meant to be reshaped to fit our lives. Our lives are meant to be transformed by Him.

Don’t settle for a diminished Christ. He is worthy of our whole lives.

WE STILL BELIEVE. 🙌

In a world that tells us to keep moving beyond what we believe, Sunday reminded us that growing in Christ doesn’t mean moving beyond Christ.

Ask the hard questions. Search the Scriptures. But never lose sight of Jesus.

The branch can grow, but it will never outgrow its need for the Vine.

Stay rooted. Stay connected. Abide in Him. 🌱
