Yesterday we continued our Knowing God by Name series by looking at Yahweh Yireh – “The Lord Will Provide” from Genesis 22.
Abraham didn’t understand why God asked him to lay Isaac on the altar, but he trusted God enough to obey. On the mountain, God provided a ram in Isaac’s place, and Abraham named that place, “The Lord will provide.”
The same God still sees your needs and provides in His way and His time. Most of all, He has provided for us in Jesus, the Lamb of God.
We also had the joy of celebrating 20 years of faithful service by Pastor Jim Bass and his wife, Debbie. We are grateful for their leadership, dedication, and the countless ways they have helped our church family grow in faith and love over the past two decades. What a blessing they have been to our congregation!
