Had our last FCA Friday today. Big shout out to Ashlynn Gunnerson for sending us a video that taught us our worth comes from God alone. Another big thanks to Mrs Bootsma for making us breakfast burritos and cinnamon rolls. It was a great year and can’t wait to see what next year brings.

Last week we had a special guest speaker; my mother Melinda Hansen. She gave her testimony of what the power of Jesus can do in your life. Growing up in a broken household, she made her own home very rigorous and structured. She was very introverted and held a lot of anger. Jesus changed all that for her. She now lives with joy and peace in heart. And this former introvert did a great job of delivering her message. Jesus can do the same for you!!!

What an awesome night. Many thanks to all who helped make our first annual youth rally a success. Caden Wittrock shared his heart out giving his testimony. Stephen Maier shared a great message about finding more to life than what the world can offer. Many local churches donated money. Local business such as Gem Nutrition and Paullina Hardware donated gifts. Clothes in Grace Iowa donated a bunch of shirts. Primghar Pizza Ranch served some great food. The Cooper family, Brasser family, and the Brown family for sparking this idea. And most importantly we thank our Lord and Savior for working on the hearts of our youth.

We had an orange peel activity today for FCA. After peeling our oranges we were instructed to put them back together ourselves which proved to be difficult. The message was we shouldn’t try to fix ourselves but turn to God for his gift of grace. Check out Psalms 51:10-12
