The Vine Church

The Vine Church The Vine Church is a community of Jesus followers, participating in God’s good work in our neighborho BELONG

At the Vine, belonging comes first.

No matter what you’ve experienced or where you are in your spiritual journey, you can feel connected in our community. Belonging matters, because Jesus practiced radical love and inclusion during his ministry on earth. We are a people who model our lives after that type of world-shaping love. BELIEVE

The Vine is a place where belief can be explored and fostered. We work together to create the typ

e of community where the life and love of Jesus can be experienced. Belief is not a one-time decision; it is a spiritual adventure and a deepening of understanding and intimacy with God that we are all invited into. BECOME

It is our experience that as we engage in a relationship with Jesus and with those around us, we become more like the people we were always meant to be. As we grow in understanding of how deeply we are loved by God, we become able to love ourselves and others more deeply.

While different season of life offer new beginnings, God continually invites us to newness. Today, we explore what God might be inviting us to in our spiritual journeys.

God invites us to live with humility and contentment, which also enables us to rest more fully in God's care. Jesus invites us to come to him with our burdens, and let them be carried by a God who loves us.

We can take time to rest from fear because we know that God has not, and will not, be overcome. God’s unending faithfulness and presence with us give us the ability to rest.

In this week’s series on Rest, we listened to Psalm 23 and were reminded of this simple but powerful truth: The Lord is our Shepherd; we lack nothing because He is with us.

In this series on rest, Psalm 46 reminds us that peace and rest can be found in chaos.

08/02/2026

Rest has been part of God's design for humanity from the beginning. We're invited by God to regularly experience rest in our lives.

In his closing remarks, Paul expresses his gratitude for the church’s generosity and describes the strength from Jesus to be content in all circumstances. How is God inviting us to be both content and generous today?

Tomorrow, July 23rd at 7 AM is our last Prayer on the Patio of the season! Come join us as we enjoy the outdoors together with guided prayer and meditation.

Paul invites us to be intentional about what we're filling our minds with, and setting our minds on. When we fill our minds with matters of God's Kingdom and truth we have the opportunity to embody the hope of Jesus for the world.
