Messiah is part of the Evangelical Lutheran Church of America, a body of 11,174 congregations numbering more than 5.3 million members. Its office is located at 1930 State Hwy. 33, Trenton, New Jersey. The Messiah Lutheran family is committed to being the Body of Christ within the community by proclaiming the Gospel of Jesus Christ and living out that good news. As God's people, we are sensitive to

the needs of people within the family and community at large. We involve everyone as ministers to respond to those needs. We support each other as we share in fellowship, worship and study. We strive to achieve unity of purpose while honoring our diversity. We are God's people with a purpose, a joy and a hope in Christ. The Sacrament of Holy Communion is celebrated each Sunday plus Holy Days. Midweek Lenten Services are held for the six weeks prior to Easter. Social Ministry

Thank you for your continued support of our clothing ministry!

At this time, we are fully stocked with winter coats, boots, and heavy clothing and do not have storage space for additional cold-weather items. We are currently seeking clean, gently used spring and summer clothing for all ages. Please note that we are unable to accept or share used undergarments.

If you are planning to donate, please let us know your name when dropping off items at the church or to Dotty’s house. You can put your name and address on a slip of paper inside the bag. We send thank-you cards to our donors and keep donation records for our ministry, so this information is greatly appreciated.

Please do NOT put any food items in the Blessing Box in the front lot. We need to check the ‘best buy’ dates and we accept donations the last Saturday of the month from noon to 2:00 PM

Your thoughtful donations help us meet our neighbors’ most immediate needs. Thank you for your compassion and generosity. God bless you all for helping us help others.

Some of you may know that I am an AARP community outreach and advocacy volunteer. This QR is on one of the slides in today's noon healthy living session with chair yoga that I will be hosting. You will be taken to the landing page to contact your NJ rep. If you did not benefit from the Stay NJ bill you probably know someone who did!
You can personalize the message you send, and, if you live in part of NJ where your rep already listens to their constituents you might want to thank them for showing they care. You have the right and ability to encourage your elected officials to do the right thing.

Messiah Lutheran Church will be the recipient of this year's Middlesex County Education Association's charity gala fundraiser. Unfortunately the responses aren't what they should be and the event might be canceled. You do not have to be a member of the county's education association or Messiah Lutheran Church to buy tickets and attend. Tickets are $50 per person. That includes the entertainment, an incredible magician, raffle baskets (to take chances on), and a great meal plus you will help support our food pantry and the many community members who need some help making ends meet.

Please consider getting a full table and contact the county education association at (732) 448-0004 if you would like to go. Please call the office ASAP, and let me know as well.

I've been supporting this fundraiser for a few years and always had a great time. Now that our pantry will benefit I'd really like a good attendance.

This sounds like a fun event! And here is some hometown trivia: the playwright, Paul Rudnick, wrote the story for Sister Act and Sister Act II, he attended the same high school that I did (Piscataway High School), and graduated from Yale (but I didn't).
