What if nothing changes?

We often talk about trusting God while we wait, but sometimes there’s another question underneath it all. What if the answer I’m waiting for never comes? What if life doesn’t turn out the way I hoped?

Faith can’t only be built on getting the outcome we want. At some point, our trust has to rest in who God is, not just in what we hope He will do. That doesn’t mean we stop praying or believing. It means we learn to trust the character of God even when we don’t understand His ways.

That’s really at the heart of EVEN IF.

How do we develop the kind of faith that can say, “God, I still trust You, even if nothing changes?”

How long do I keep waiting?

We live in a right now culture. We don’t like to wait for anything. We want answers, solutions, and results, and we want them now.

But God doesn’t always work on our timeline.

Maybe you’ve prayed about the same thing for months or even years. You’ve trusted God, but nothing seems to be changing. So how do we remain faithful when we’re tired of waiting? How do we keep trusting God when life doesn’t look the way we imagined it would?

Sometimes God changes our circumstances. Sometimes He uses the waiting to change us.

At EVEN IF, we’re going to talk about spiritual endurance and what it looks like to build a faith that keeps trusting God, even in the waiting.

There’s something about sending your kids back to school that pulls on a mom’s heart.

You’re excited for them, but you’re also thinking about the things you can’t control. Their friendships. Their choices. Their confidence. Their safety. Their future.

You may not be able to walk every hallway with them, but your prayers can.

As backpacks are packed and another school year begins, let’s remember: we are sending our children into a world God is already in.

Pray over them. Encourage them. Trust God with the places you cannot go.

Have you ever prayed and still felt like God was quiet?

You know He is there. You know His Word. You believe He is faithful.
But you wonder, “God… where are You?”

Most of us will walk through seasons where we don’t fully understand what God is doing. We all go through seasons of waiting for an answer, waiting for something to change, or simply waiting to hear His voice again.

So what do we do in the waiting?

How do we stay faithful when God feels silent?

That’s one of the conversations we’re going to have at EVEN IF.

Have you ever wondered why God seems silent?
You prayed. You waited. You believed.
And...nothing seemed to happen.

Maybe you’ve wondered if God is disappointed with you. Maybe you’ve questioned whether you did something wrong. Or maybe you’ve watched God answer someone else’s prayer while you’re still waiting on yours.

Those are hard questions. But they're questions we shouldn't be afraid to ask.

This October, we're gathering women together for EVEN IF, a weekend centered around learning to trust God when we can't see what He's doing.

This isn’t a conference. It’s simply women coming together for honest conversation, worship, God’s Word, communion, and hope.

Faith isn’t only trusting God when everything works out the way we hoped. Sometimes faith looks like trusting Him in the waiting and trusting Him when we don’t understand.

It's learning to say, "Even if it doesn't...I will still trust You."

Yachad (יָחַד) — the most common Hebrew word for “together” or “in unity.”
It comes from a root word meaning “one.” It goes beyond merely standing side by side; it implies
hearts moving in the same direction and functioning as a single unit.

“Behold, how good and pleasant it is when brothers dwell in unity!” -Psalm 133:1 ESV

As sisters in Christ, when we gather together for events like Transformation Night, our hearts join together, move in the same direction and draw closer to Christ.

The Word of God brings us into Yachad — unity.
