There are so many views and beliefs about the Holy Spirit in the world today. Some teach that He is merely a force or an influence, others say He is just a feeling or an emotion, while others believe He is a distinct person of the Godhead. With so many different doctrines and opinions, how can we know what is truly Scriptural and what is man made?

We all want to know the truth, and the only place to find the truth is in the Word of God itself. Jesus said, Thy word is truth.

We invite you to join us as we begin a careful study through the Scriptures to find the truth about the Holy Spirit, beginning in Genesis and continuing through the entire Bible. Together, we will let the Scriptures speak for themselves and seek to understand who the Holy Spirit is, what His work is, and how He works in our lives today.

Luke 15:20 says, “...While he was still a long way off, his father saw him and was filled with compassion for him...”

The prodigal son returned home expecting rejection, but his father ran to welcome him. This is a picture of God’s heart toward us. When we fail, He does not turn away the repentant heart. Before you close your eyes tonight receive His forgiveness and rest in the assurance that you are loved.

Father, thank You for welcoming me with compassion. Forgive me for the ways I have fallen short today. Help me turn away from sin and rest in Your grace. May I wake tomorrow with a renewed heart!

Good morning,
In John 14:27 Jesus says, “Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you.” The peace Jesus offers is different from what the world gives. It doesn’t depend on circumstances, success, or comfort, it rests in His presence and promises. Folks, whatever you are facing today, you do not have to face it alone. Bring your worries to Christ and trust Him to guard your heart.

Lord Jesus, fill me with Your peace today. Help me not to be afraid, but to rest in Your presence.

Good morning, Deuteronomy 31:8 says, ...

"And the LORD, He is the One who goes before you. He will be with you, He will not leave you nor forsake you; do not fear nor be dismayed."

Folks, you never walk alone. God is already ahead of you, clearing the path, and is beside you in every step. Whatever you face today, take courage, He will not let you go.

Today, face every challenge with courage, not because you are strong alone, but because God is always with you.

Ecclesiastes 2:24 says...

"There is nothing better for a person than that he should eat and drink and find enjoyment in his toil. This also, I saw, is from the hand of God."

Folks, before you sleep, remember the simple joys of today. A warm meal, a conversation, a moment of laughter, breath in your lungs. These are not small things. They are gifts from the hand of God. Gratitude turns an ordinary day into a reminder of His goodness.

Lord, thank You for the simple blessings You poured into my day. Open my eyes to see Your hand in every good gift. Let my heart be filled with thankfulness as I lie down tonight.
