Get yourself ready. (Jeremiah 1:17)

Being ready for what God is calling us to isn’t about having all the answers. It’s about becoming a people who are rooted in His Word, attentive to His Spirit, and responsive in prayer.

As we read Scripture, we pray. As we pray, we become more alert to what God is doing, and more willing to obey when He calls.

Sometimes following Jesus begins with something as simple and profound as: “Yes, Lord.”

Jeremiah was called to speak a hard truth to a people who didn’t want to hear it. He warned Judah of the coming destruction, not because he hated them, but because God loved them enough to tell them the truth. 📖

True love tells the truth. Even when it’s uncomfortable. Even when it isn’t what someone wants to hear. ❤️

Love God. Love others. And have the courage to speak the truth in love. 🙏
