On Maundy Thursday we commemorate Jesus’ “Last Supper” with his disciples in the Upper Room. “Maundy” is Latin for “Mandate.” It was this Passover night that Jesus gave the “Mandate” to “Love one another as I have loved you.”

We celebrate Maundy Thursday with the Sacrament of Holy Communion. We observe Open Communion. All who believe and confess their faith in Jesus Christ are invited to partake. Communion is an individually wrapped pre-filled communion wafer/cup. We also have traditional elements of bread and open cup for intinction available at a kneeling table on both sides of the sanctuary.

Please join us for this meaningful service on Thursday, April 1st at 7:00 pm.

At this simple and brief service of worship, we will sing, pray, hear the Word and offer ashes as a sign of repentance and commitment.
