How does God increase our faith? If we are looking for our faith to grow, how can we feed it? It is fed in God's Word, in prayer, and through the Holy Spirit. If we want God to grow our faith today, we need to be asking "What am I trusting God for today?" What specific, measurable thing am I asking God for today? What is on my agenda today that I want to trust God for? What am I trusting God to put in my agenda today (opportunities to witness, encourage, etc.)?
When I pray specific, measurable prayers to God for what I need today, trusting Him to provide, I give God the opportunity to grow my faith.
If all I pray are generalities and things for tomorrow and next week, I leave no opportunity for my faith to grow today. (Go ahead and pray for next week and tomorrow, but remember the Lord's prayer - "Give us this day our daily bread") Trust God for specific, measurable needs today.

"More, Please"
I have a grandson who loves to have books read to him. He's 2. Yesterday, after reading a book for him he just said "More, please." I read the book again. "More, Please." And again, "More, please."
This is his normal response to being read to.
We can learn a lot from children. Jesus said "Suffer the little children...to come unto me, for of such is the kingdom of heaven."
In Psalm 1, David says the blessed man meditates in God's law day and night. "More, please"
Is my response to God's Word "More, please?" or is it "That's enough?"
What about in prayer? "More, please?" or "I guess I need to pray?" or "I did that yesterday (or last week?)"
We are encouraged to be more like children. Not temper tantrum throwing children, but children with the simple desire for "More, please" and a simple faith that asks for what is wanted and needed.
Lord, give us an unsatiable appetite for You. Give us more, please.
