~ Sunday, October 18 ~

What if the people most convinced they don't need help are actually the ones who need it the most? In our continuing series in the book of Romans, Paul gives us a series of sobering warnings about God’s judgment. Yet, even in the midst of the hopeless warnings, there is hope-filled news!

Join us this Sunday as Pastor Joel takes a closer look at Romans 2 as we discover why God’s patience is a gift, why no one is exempt from His judgment, and where we can find the way out.

We invite you to join us in one of two ways:

When you picture someone who is angry, what do you envision? Out-of-control? Vengeful? What about when we use the phrase "God's wrath"? How can God's wrath coexist with his love and goodness? This Sunday, Pastor Joel continues the series in Romans by taking a closer look at the end of chapter 1, and we'll confront some hard truths about God's judgment, what happens when we reject him, and how this difficult passage reminds us of God's grace.

This week at PBC, we're returning to the story of Elijah. We'll look at 3 stories in rapid succession. These stories reveal a lot about the characters.
