📖 “Give your love of justice to the king, O God, and righteousness to the king’s son.” - Psalms‬ ‭72‬:‭1‬ ‭NLT‬‬

This was a prayer for Solomon that was prayed by his father David. This scripture shows us how we should pray when we’re praying for those in positions of leadership. Whether it’s government officials, state or local officials, leaders in your church or job, it’s important to pray for them. Whether you agree with them or not, pray for them.

David didn’t go to God, in this scripture, asking him to change Solomon. He asked him to give him attributes that God has. He asked God to give Solomon the love of justice so that the poor and the needy will always be taken care of. (v.2-4)

How are you praying for the leadership of our country, local, state officials, supervisors, leaders of the church, etc? Are you praying for what you want or are you asking God to give them his attributes?

May we be like David and pray that God would impart his spirit and attributes into the leaders as well as his will and purpose for their lives to be done versus what we want to see changed in them.

📖 “The voice of the Lord strikes with bolts of lightning.” — Psalm 29:7 NLT

God’s voice is powerful. Throughout Scripture, we see that when God speaks, His voice has the power to get our attention, bring correction, and lead us back into alignment with Him.

Sometimes His correction can feel like a bolt of lightning, sudden, powerful, and impossible to ignore. But God’s correction is never meant to condemn us. It comes from a place of love and is meant to draw us closer to Him.

Take comfort in knowing that the same God who lovingly corrects you is also the God who walks with you as you get back on track.

✨ His correction may get your attention, but His love is what leads you back into alignment.

📖 “Thieves are jealous of each other’s loot, but the godly are well rooted and bear their own fruit.” — Proverbs 12:12 NLT

There is freedom in learning to stay rooted in your own soil. 🌱

Proverbs 12:12 reminds us that while others may become consumed with what someone else has, the godly are called to something different. We are called to be rooted, growing, and producing fruit of our own.

When our roots are firmly planted in Christ, we don't have to compare our lives to someone else's. We don't have to envy their blessings, their opportunities, their gifts, or even the fruit we see them producing. Instead, we can celebrate what God is doing in their lives while remaining faithful to what He is cultivating in ours.

A tree doesn't stop producing fruit because the tree beside it is flourishing. It simply stays rooted.🌳

The same is true for us. When we remain connected to Christ—the true Vine—He develops within us the fruit of His Spirit: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control.

Comparison can distract you from your own growth. Envy can make you overlook what God is already producing in your life. So instead of watching someone else's fruit, tend to your roots.

Stay connected to Christ.

Stay faithful to your assignment.

Keep watering what God has planted in you.

And trust Him with the fruit that comes from it.

Lord, keep me rooted in You. Guard my heart against comparison and envy, and help me celebrate what You are doing in the lives of others. Teach me to remain focused on You and faithfully cultivate what You have placed within me. May my life continue to grow and produce fruit that brings You glory. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Stay rooted. Your fruit will come. 🌱

“Do you trust that I can bring you through? I am fully aware of your circumstances. Nothing you are facing has caught Me by surprise. I am Jehovah Jireh..... your Provider.

❤️I will provide everything you need to fulfill the assignment I have given you. Do not allow what you see right now to cause you to question what I have spoken. If I gave you the assignment, I will also provide the resources, strength, favor, connections, and provision necessary to complete it.
