I believe this ministry began after Hurricane Katrina, but this many years later, it's still needed in Hammond, America. They post a list of needed items almost weekly. Homelessness touches neighbors in our communities.

Some think there are no issues with homelessness in our area. NOT true. We have helped neigbors in our area find emergency housing in this shelter 🙏🙏🙏

All children should have a safe place in which to sleep, and all families should have the chance to start over.

Through its Sweet Dreams Shelter for Families, the St. Vincent de Paul Society of Baton Rouge offers families more than a place to sleep; they receive meals, compassionate support, and individualized case management as parents work toward stability and a permanent home, staying together throughout.

Thanks to our generous parishioners, ministries and community donors we were able to provide 2 new sets of uniforms for 500 needy children in northern Tangipahoa parish.
