In 2027, we will do many different things as we spend the entire year celebrating God's goodness in the first 100 years of Woodlawn!

As part of our 2027 100 YEAR ANNIVERSARY OF WOODLAWN, we are planning a fun Carnival cruise for church members, extended family, and friends. In anticipation of the regularly scheduled Fall Break 2027 we are putting together a cruise through our own Carvinal Cruise Line employee, David Martin. We'll secure the best possible deals. There will be a small down payment, and then you will have a year to pay for the rest of the cruise.

The cruise will leave from New Orleans and go to Cozumel and Progreso. It's a 5-day cruise on the Carnival Dream.

The dates are October 2, 2027 - October 7, 2027.

This post is simply intended to see who is interested in more details. We would love for you to go. What a wonderful way to get to know your church family better and celebrate our 100th together!

For those who have been praying for Amy that we talked about in the worship service this morning… After having gone through a very important procedure to help her heart rest she is now stable and although the journey is not over, she is “out of the woods” for today.

Hello Woodlawn… A minor thing about entering worship tomorrow.

Due to a need to reduce moisture in the air of the The Great room… Tomorrow we will be entering only through primary entrances to the facility. This is not a big deal… Just to the left of the normal primary doors people go through. there is a new entrance you can use just for tomorrow.

If you typically come in the glass doors on the Broadway side of the facility, you can enter directly into an entrance just to the right of The Great room.

We are moving men from being spectators to becoming brothers, mentors, servants, and spiritual leaders—equipping them to notice other men, walk beside them, share what they have learned, and help carry them toward Jesus.

The men and women of Woodlawn are sons and daughters of God. Bought with the price of Christ's blood on the cross. Called according to His purposes. And it is church leadership's focus to help them see God's Glory in the greatest way and give their lives for that end!!!

Sunday we had the privilege of awarding the Doris Jean Allmon Estes College
Scholarship to Katie Stevenson who is a student at Murray State in Medical/Laboratory Studies.
