This weekend, St. James Catholic Church is hosting a 40 Hours Devotion, which is a beautiful opportunity to spend time with Our Lord truly present in the Most Holy Eucharist.

As part of our mission to Love God, serve His people, & unite all in Christ, we invite every parishioner of St. Bridget, St. James, & St. Mary to commit to at least one Holy Hour before Jesus.

We especially need volunteers for the overnight hours. While those hours require a little extra sacrifice, they are often the most peaceful & quiet times to pray. Most importantly, Our Lord should never be left alone.

O Precious Jesus, The gift of your Body and Blood, shared with us, is unfathomable.
Like manna that satiated our hunger, fill us where we lack.
Like the bread given to Elijah in the desert, sustain us.
Grace us with a glimpse into your love for us,

Tonight, Fr. Nord carried the Blessed Sacrament through the streets of Pacific in our 2nd annual Corpus Christi Eucharistic Procession.

Together, we walked approximately one mile with Our Lord, publicly witnessing to our belief in the Real Presence of Jesus Christ in the Holy Eucharist.

It was a beautiful evening of prayer, adoration, sacred music, & witness.

Thank you to everyone who joined us for this powerful witness to Christ's presence among us.

A special thank you to the Pacific Police Department too!

40 Hours Devotion begins Friday, June 12, with the 6:30 PM Opening Mass for the Feast of the Sacred Heart at St. James Church.

Please sign up as soon as possible for an hour of Eucharistic Adoration so that Our Lord is never left alone.

TONIGHT!

Join us for our annual Corpus Christi Eucharistic Procession following the 4:00 PM Holy Mass on Saturday, June 6 at St. Bridget Church.

We will accompany Our Lord in the Blessed Sacrament from St. Bridget to Pacific Care Center & back as a public witness to our belief in the Real Presence of Jesus Christ in the Eucharist.

First Communicants are encouraged to wear their First Communion attire. Unable to walk? Meet us at the altar at Pacific Care Center around 5:20 PM.
