Today, we pause to remember the brave men and women who gave their lives defending the freedoms we enjoy every day. Memorial Day is more than a long weekend or the unofficial start of summer — it is a sacred reminder that liberty has been purchased at a great cost.

At Marcus Pointe Baptist Church, we honor the sacrifice of those who courageously served our nation and never returned home. Their selfless devotion reflects the words of Jesus in John 15:13: “Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one’s life for one’s friends.”

As we gather with family and friends today, may we never forget the heroes who made those moments possible. We pray for the families who carry the weight of loss and ask God to continue blessing and protecting our nation.

A huge congratulations to our very own Macy Moore and the entire Pace High School softball team on winning the STATE CHAMPIONSHIP!

What an incredible accomplishment and a testament to the hard work, dedication, teamwork, and perseverance shown all season long. We are so proud of Macy for representing our church family and community with excellence both on and off the field.
