Day 5 — Fix Your Eyes on Christ: Our True North

Scripture: Hebrews 12:2; Habakkuk 2:4

Habakkuk stood on the rampart looking for God’s voice. We stand looking to Christ—the Word made flesh, the final revelation, the One who anchors us in every storm. He is our true north. When life shakes us, Christ steadies us. When sin condemns us, Christ saves us. When fear whispers, Christ strengthens us.

The gospel is the anchor of our posture. We stand because Christ stood for us. We stay because Christ holds us. We see because Christ opened our eyes.

Reflection: How does the gospel steady you in your current season?

Application: Share one gospel truth with someone today—encourage them as Habakkuk was encouraged.

Prayer: “Jesus, You are my true north. Fix my eyes on You. Keep me standing, staying, and seeing by Your grace.

Habakkuk’s posture is not just prophetic—it is universal. Every believer is called to stand, stay, and see. This is the posture of discipleship. This is the rhythm of faith. This is the way we live in a world that often feels unstable.

Standing gives us stability.
Staying gives us endurance.
Seeing gives us clarity.

And all three prepare us to live by faith, not by sight.

Day 3 — Watch to See: The Prophet’s Perception

Scripture: Habakkuk 2:1; Psalm 119:18

Habakkuk watches “to see what He will say.” This is spiritual perception—attentiveness to God’s voice. He expects God to speak. He prepares to receive correction. He positions himself to obey.

Perception requires quietness, humility, and expectation. God speaks through His Word, His Spirit, His people, and His providence. The question is not whether God speaks—the question is whether we are listening.

Reflection: What voices compete with God’s voice in your life?

Application: Set aside 10 minutes today to quietly “watch to see” what God will say through His Word.
