Today we celebrated our 134th Sunday School Anniversary, and what a blessing it was! 🎉⛪️

Rev. Dr. Danette Burgess brought forth a powerful Word, reminding us that sometimes we simply have to get “BACK TO BASICS!” 📖✨

From the smiles and fellowship to the worship and Word, here are a few views from the pews as we celebrated 134 years of learning, growing, and building our faith through Sunday School.

🎶 “MY GOD IS GREAT!” 🙌🏾🔥

The SPBC Dynamic Mass Choir reminded us on Sunday that our God is GREAT and greatly to be praised! From the first note to the last, the choir lifted His name and the presence of the Lord filled the house! 🙌🏾

🙌🏾 GOD MET US AT SPBC TODAY! 🙌🏾

We were blessed to welcome Bishop Gregory Poole, Sr., Pastor of Cathedral of Hope Ministries, LLC, Hyattsville, MD, as our guest preacher for Sunday morning worship.

Before bringing forth the Word, Bishop Poole ushered us even deeper into the presence of God through song—reminding us to tell God just how much we love Him, how worthy He is, and that He is our King! 👑🙌🏾

May this snippet of worship reign in your heart throughout this week, just as His presence filled the walls of SPBC today. ❤️

God met us. We worshiped. We received the Word. And we left with our hearts FULL. 🙌🏾
