We all have to cope with the difficulties that this life has to offer because we will never be able to escape them. But everyone copes with the difficulties in life in a different way. Truth is, the beauty of life is not to live without facing, challenges, trials, and difficult times but it is how we allow God to lead us as we go through. Some people may need time to process information and put themselves together, while others may prefer to get their minds off by doing work and keeping busy. There are also others who prefer to experience the whole range of emotions and so on. At the end of the day it is the ability to remain steady, secure, fixed, stable, strong, and unwavering in Christ that makes the difference. If we have faith in God, it does not matter how dark our moment is, we can still find a silver lining behind every dark cloud. THE WORD OF GOD ACCORDING TO Ephesians 1:18-20 NLT SAYS...[18] I pray that your hearts will be flooded with light so that you can understand the confident hope he has given to those he called—his holy people who are his rich and glorious inheritance. [19] I also pray that you will understand the incredible greatness of God’s power for us who believe him. This is the same mighty power [20] that raised Christ from the dead and seated him in the place of honor at God’s right hand in the heavenly realms. SILVER LINING SATURDAY

We are all on our own unique journey even though many of us are targeting the same destination. It is also important to note that we all have many similarities along this pathway. Yes, our journey may be unique but the similaries still remain. These may include those parts of our past we would love to rewrite, deny or perhaps run from. But no matter what is happening around us, it is imperative that we remind ourselves, and truly believe, that we are not our circumstances, neither are we limited to, or defined by our circumstances. We are defined by how we choose to live our lives as we navigate our circumstances. So let us ensure that we are living a God-directed life. He is always waiting to help with those challenges whether it be a tough break in a business or on the job, unraveling a relationship or an ongoing health situation. God will be there. THE WORD OF GOD ACCORDING TO Philippians 4:12-14 NLT SAYS... [12] I know how to live on almost nothing or with everything. I have learned the secret of living in every situation, whether it is with a full stomach or empty, with plenty or little. [13] For I can do everything through Christ, who gives me strength. [14] Even so, you have done well to share with me in my present difficulty. FRANK FRIDAY

Everyone at some point in their life will have that Thomas experience, where they wrestle with doubt. You need to see, touch and hold before you accept. So doubt is a universal struggle that can hold us back from achieving our goal. The truth is, doubt has become a blessing robber and a miracle killer in many persons lives. True, it may not prevent you from getting to your destination but it can surely make the journey a little more challenging. There are times when God's promises are not fulfilled in our lives at a particular time because we stop expecting because we did not get an answer after we pray our first prayer. But God's timing is very different from ours. One thing is sure, however, our God is a promise keeper. Let's not allow doubt to prevent us from seeing His faithfulness in our lives. THE WORD OF GOD ACCORDING TO John 20:24-27 NLT SAYS... [24] One of the twelve disciples, Thomas (nicknamed the Twin), was not with the others when Jesus came. [25] They told him, “We have seen the Lord!” But he replied, “I won’t believe it unless I see the nail wounds in his hands, put my fingers into them, and place my hand into the wound in his side.” [26] Eight days later the disciples were together again, and this time Thomas was with them. The doors were locked; but suddenly, as before, Jesus was standing among them. “Peace be with you,” he said. [27] Then he said to Thomas, “Put your finger here, and look at my hands. Put your hand into the wound in my side. Don’t be faithless any longer. Believe!” TRUST GOD THURSDAY

The enemy is a liar and deceiver. He aims to distort your identity as he tries to keep you from recognizing who you really are. But don't let the enemy rename what God has already defined. You are chosen. You are special. You are His child so don't allow yourself to be deceived. If we allow ourselves to be disoriented and sold a distorted bill of goods, and if we then take the bait of a deceptively appealing false story, we will be lured and enticed by our own desire, which will eventually give birth to sin. Remember there are many different strategies for fighting the different kinds of temptations. But all of them require that we not be outwitted by Satan due to ignorance of his designs to disorient, distort, and deceive. THE WORD OF GOD ACCORDING TO Romans 6:12-14 NLT SAYS... [12] Do not let sin control the way you live; do not give in to sinful desires. [13] Do not let any part of your body become an instrument of evil to serve sin. Instead, give yourselves completely to God, for you were dead, but now you have new life. So use your whole body as an instrument to do what is right for the glory of God. [14] Sin is no longer your master, for you no longer live under the requirements of the law. Instead, you live under the freedom of God’s grace. WALK WORTHY WEDNESDAY

The Word of God speaks clearly about the power of the mind and our thoughts. But it can be quite easy to brush this aside and overlook its importance as we become capture by all kinds of negative thoughts. We must, however, make a concerted effort to stop believing the negative things that others say about us. Start believing what God says about us. It is so true, that sometimes we have no control as to what thoughts enter our minds, however, we are able to take control of these thoughts. The Word of God helps us to recognize our thoughts for what they really are and how to act upon them. But when we harbour negative thoughts about ourselves it can prove to be very discouraging and can also cripple our growth spiritually. If left unchecked, they can take over our minds and stop us from seeing ourselves and our lives from God’s perspective. THE WORD OF GOD ACCORDING TO Psalms 19:12-14 NLT SAYS... [12] How can I know all the sins lurking in my heart? Cleanse me from these hidden faults. [13] Keep your servant from deliberate sins! Don’t let them control me. Then I will be free of guilt and innocent of great sin. [14] May the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be pleasing to you, O Lord, my rock and my redeemer. THOUGHT- PROVOKING TUESDAY

The road to your happiness in life is not about the number of battles you have fought and won. No, because the truth is, not every battle you come upon deserves your time and energy. In fact many battles are simply distractions to try to lure you off course. But it takes spiritual maturity to recognize these distractions and to ensure that you do not get drawn into the wrong battles. So choose those battles wisely. Listen to The Lord’s voice. Know if He is saying it is not yours and adjust your objectives accordingly. Remember this, life without an objective is like a ship sailing aimlessly at sea, it has no port in mind. Line up your objectives, after all, life is not measured by how many times you stood up to fight but how often you listen to and take instructions from your Commander and Chief, Jesus Christ. THE WORD OF GOD ACCORDING TO Colossians 1:11-14 NLT SAYS... [11] We also pray that you will be strengthened with all his glorious power so you will have all the endurance and patience you need. May you be filled with joy, [12] always thanking the Father. He has enabled you to share in the inheritance that belongs to his people, who live in the light. [13] For he has rescued us from the kingdom of darkness and transferred us into the Kingdom of his dear Son, [14] who purchased our freedom and forgave our sins. SUPER SATURDAY

As we go through our daily walk we meet up on a lot of very arrogant, self-centred and proud individuals. This kind of pride takes many forms whether it is boasting about our family, car, house, our talents, feeling of superiority because of our academic achievements, financial standing, our physical appearances, or thinking we are even more righteous than others. All of this is what we face as we interact with our fellowmen on a daily basis. We should however, be reminded that God hates all kinds of pride. In fact He resists the proud but gives grace to the humble. There are so many people these days who have and are making the mistake of thinking that humility is weakness, when the ability to remain humble in today's self-centred world is actually a gift. Humble people are the ones who are respectful and know how to accept and appreciate our imperfect human nature. THE WORD OF GOD ACCORDING TO Romans 12:15-18 NIV SAYS... [15] Rejoice with those who rejoice; mourn with those who mourn. [16] Live in harmony with one another. Do not be proud, but be willing to associate with people of low position. Do not be conceited. [17] Do not repay anyone evil for evil. Be careful to do what is right in the eyes of everyone. [18] If it is possible, as far as it depends on you, live at peace with everyone. TRUSTING THURSDAY

There are so many things in life that we get all excited about. A new car, new birth, new house, new relationship, new job and the list goes on. But nothing in or of this world measures up to the simple pleasure of experiencing the presence of God. When one experience the presence and power of Almighty God there is nothing more exciting than that. As a matter of fact being in the presence of God should never be equated with a good mood, or any physical, material or emotional experience. Neither should it be placed alongside a pleasant temperament. God is near whether you are happy or not He is ever present. So yes, we might not always be on top of the world with our bubbly self but never let the presence of a storm, turbulence, hurricane or whatever the challenge may be, cause you to doubt the presence of God. THE WORD OF GOD ACCORDING TO Psalms 139:7-11 NIV SAYS... [7] Where can I go from your Spirit? Where can I flee from your presence? [8] If I go up to the heavens, you are there; if I make my bed in the depths, you are there. [9] If I rise on the wings of the dawn, if I settle on the far side of the sea, [10] even there your hand will guide me, your right hand will hold me fast. [11] If I say, “Surely the darkness will hide me and the light become night around me,” TRUTHFUL TUESDAY

There is only one power in the world great enough to help us rise above the difficult things we face and that is the limitless power of God. There are no limits on God. Neither are there any limits to how high God will take you. He is unbound by limits. He defies any kind of measurement. He is limitless, and immeasurable. God’s goodness, lovingkindness, knowledge and power is without limit. The God that we worship is infinite, the Alpha and Omega, the first and the last, the beginning and the end. This is the God we worship. And rightfully so. He is not limited on who He is or what he can do. God’s limitlessness underlies all of His attributes, His power, knowledge, love and mercy. No one can measure any aspect of who God is. THE WORD OF GOD ACCORDING TO Psalms 147:2-6 NIV SAYS... [2] The Lord builds up Jerusalem; he gathers the exiles of Israel. [3] He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds. [4] He determines the number of the stars and calls them each by name. [5] Great is our Lord and mighty in power; his understanding has no limit. [6] The Lord sustains the humble but casts the wicked to the ground. MEASURELESS GOD MONDAY
